NEW YORK (AP) - An ABC News executive tells The Associated Press that the network has interviewed Newt Gingrich's second wife and is likely to air the segment Thursday on "Nightline."

“Just heard on FOX that one of the commentators said he heard she will claim wanted to be a swinger.”
Well, if that’s true then Newt will definitely attract a whole bunch of liberal democratic voters in the general election, including Slick Willie!
Hey SRM, since you are all so fair and balanced, how about giving Larry Sinclair some air time on Niteline? You fing hypocritical phonies!!! At least Newt didn’t “cross the aisle” like the Lyin King did and probably still is!!
I think that is a reference to the Glenn Close character in the movie “Fatal Attraction”.
I cracked up when I read it! LOLOL
Could you please give me a credible link that verifies these comments?
I wish I had your confidence. I thought it would fail with Cain.
No tell all book?
Actually, his second wife (tonite’s interview on Nightline, ABC) has signed with a NY publishing company and is writing a book about her marriage to Newt. Expect it to come out the month before the Fall 2012 election, just in time to bring Newt down against Obama.
She said the exact same thing in a 1995 Esquire interview. It sounds like she is rehashing that interview, and ABC is more than willing to comply.
I guess we will find out, but if this was as horrific as Drudge is trying to make this out to be—by even using Marianne’s old threat—I would think ABC would be airing this during primetime, not on Nightline.
“Isnt the main objective of the MSM to end Gingrichs career since they are so scared he will crush Obama and expose the liberal lies that they live off of?”
ABSOLUTELY! Who gives a fig about the rantings of an embittered ex wife? She should have gotten over this years ago. This act of ‘revenge’ reflects more on her than Newt. He is lucky he wised up and got rid of her.
My ex was a rounder and I was angry but you get over it. I can’t abide such vicious behavior from this woman. SHE is an a$$.
“..been through the mill with a bunny boiler.”
What on earth is a bunny boiler? Thanks for the laugh! By the way, I hope you are right on Newt picking up some points/votes.
Ethics my derriere...they are worried it will backfire. ROTFL.
Classic case of a woman scorned. She is probably thinking she could have been the First Lady had Newt not divorced her and she’ll be damned if she lets some other woman have that honor in her place.
Marianne is looking at Calista possibly becoming the first lady and fumes that that could have been HER, Dammit!
Reports say nothing new in this interview. It’s an ABC hit piece - dredging up decades old material - designed to do one thing - stop the Newtmentum in S.C..
He has a big problem drawing votes from women who vote with their feelings.
There is no way this will help him. It could very well be his Jack Ryan moment.
However, Gingrich has openly repented of his past mistakes and appears to be trying to avoid those same mistakes now. “It would be great if he had never made those mistakes to start with, but the next best thing is to admit them and no longer do them. That is a far, far cry better than never admitting ones sins, isnt it?”
The only thing that has slowed Gingrich down is the fact that he’s too old to screw around anymore. Age slowed him down, and only age. His character (or lack thereof) is as it is.
Smacks of bitter ex wife dredging up the past in order to hurt her ex-hubby when he’s on the verge of something big.
This could backfire. Big time.
He got a divorce for the "Love of Country".
They have to knock Newt back so Romney can get through, because that’s who they really have laid the ambush for. It won’t work, though, so we’re on to Florida.
No one cares about this. It's sleazy.
How many Freepers have been divorced? How many have cheated on their wives?

And you know this how?
