NEW YORK (AP) - An ABC News executive tells The Associated Press that the network has interviewed Newt Gingrich's second wife and is likely to air the segment Thursday on "Nightline."

“Move on, folks - nothing to see - just a life that has been wrecked.” I am sticking to what I wrote about unfinished business. And it is painful and if it is unresolved it festers and grows. Obviously, it has been unresolved in the mind of one of the parties. I am writing, of course, as somebody who is divorced.
Was the first gal - the schoolteacher, married when she was carrying on with little Newt? Just curious...
I don't believe JimRob would agree with any of that nonsense.
He has endorsed Newt - but he doesn't expect everyone to agree with him in order to post on the site. I am proudly conservative and won't be driven off by an ankle-biter who doesn't like to hear hard truths.
not someone that is pious enough to satisfy your personal narrow view.
Belief in the importance of marital fidelity is a personal narrow view?
shove it up your you know what.
Stay classy, San Diego.
No one is defending adultery.
There are many (not you of course) who accept a repentant man.
The ex wife has her own issues, which apparently is non forgiveness and focusing on something other than her own anger.
I am not defending serial adultery. I also believe in the power of conversion and that Christ can change people. From what I see now, Newt has changed. Only time will tell.
However, that does not excuse this woman’s behavior. She is holding a grudge that will do her more harm than Newt and being used by the MSM and possibly Romney. My mother is twice divorced - both times cheated on by her husbands (my father and stepfather). Both divorces were painful, however she eventually was able to forgive them (as a Christian should) even if she was not able to trust them again. Letting go of the pain and hurt did her (and in the long run me) more good than holding on to it.
FWIW, my mother didn’t catch my father in bed with another woman, she caught him in bed with another MAN - that REALLY smarts.
But them dudes ain't got no money to tithe on; since it all has gone up their nasal passages.
To err is human - but it feels divine! I am glad your mother was able to forgive. I am not sure about Newt’s “repentance” or his current wife’s either - she was, after all, the “other woman”. Interesting that she is not being skewered.
I’m not sure either, but until I see differently I am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. I know how Christ changed me. I also saw how my stepfather changed and repented. It is possible and like I said only time will tell.
If Gingrich is the nominee, I will do everything to help him. Let me get this straight: Obama must be defeated. Period. We will not survive four more years of this disaster of a presidency. And I think what is happening, is that the media is enabling Obama to run with no opposition. One by one, the GOP candidates have fallen. Obama wants a coronation - not a fair election. I am sick over the whole thing. The Fourth Estate is almost totally corrupt. However, I do have problems with Gingrich. I have not forgotten his support of Didi Scozzafavva in upstate New York two years ago. That was a disaster and a debacle. He should have know that she was an abortion-loving lib who had been selected in a back room. I was stunned when he supported her.
He does have a lot of baggage. I already hate this election cycle.
bttt
I agree with you. And it almost seems as if the only name in November on the ballot will be “B. Hussein Obama”. We are turning into a banana republic.
MSM propaganda sure does paint it that way!
Thank you South Carolina!
