If he named her as his VP choice and she accepted, he'd win in a landslide.

Cheers!

If only Palin knew what it takes to win.
Still going with Santorum.

Now would be a good time for Perry and Santorum to bow out, and endorse Newt.

“This is probably our last chance to stop Milt.”

Yes, I agree and that is exactly why Sarah said what she said.

Seems to me that Mitt is reading a lot of things in here.

Yeah, he was great Last night but he only has 1 more delegate that Perry.

Keep your powder dry!

Can Newt please stop using the 3rd person. Please. Show some humility and modesty for a few days at least. Keep your ego in check for a few days and don’t squander any potential goodwill.

All that he has to do is be the Newt like last night-Keep positive and stay on message and nothing can stop him. His speech earlier in South Carolina was right on message and full of information. I think this will be a campaign that people will help him. He will need ground support. I hope people will volunteer. I will and so will the better half.

Did anyone of you guys actually hear what Sarah said? This isn’t an endorsement but to keep this process going on she supports Newt in S.C.

This is strategic to stop Mitt or at least slow him down. Notice that Newt didn’t speak to Sarah but to Todd who endorsed him earlier. Did she uplift Newt before the Iowa Caucus? No she uplifted Santorum who either won or is in a virtual tie with Romney in IA.

Did you notice that Sarah said weeks ago that the next 2 people that should go were Bachmann and Huntsman? And lo and behold who went in that order.

"Lots of different things are working together to help us," Gingrich said.....

Sounds like Newt got the memo...the leaked McCain memo that is.

I hope it works. Sarah should endorse, and hit the campaign trail.

Here’s Krautheimer and O’reilly saying Newt won the debate bigtime. as well romney needs to win the next debate or he’s in trouble.

The endorsement from Tim LaHaye was big. Palin is one of the biggest. Both will change some votes in SC, and FL. And if Newt can stay on message in the Thursday debate as effective as he was in the Fox debate, he (and we) have an excellent chance to minimize mitt. Hang tough Newt!

Newt: Palin comments are 'signal' to conservatives to vote for me"

No Newt, it is a 'signal' for: 'Romney sucks a bit more than the rest of the bozos running'.

I think we're seeing Todd's influence here. A few Freepers like to twit him about his quasi-consort status, but he's definitely the man of the house.

Or, if you want it in the third person: After a moment's consideration, subsequent to reading the original post, Daniel M. Ryan is of the opinion that Sarah Palin's near-endorsement of Newt Gingrich shows the influence of her definitely masculine husband, Todd, who all-but explicitly endorsed Gigrich earler.

;)

I wonder what our dear Ann Couter is thinking about this. I heard her on Bill Bennett yesterday morning. She obviosly turns the tv down whenever Newt speaks, therefore she couldn’t say one nice thing about the guy Caled him the joe Palooka of the debates.

She said she made the mistake of NOT coming out early enough for Romney last time as if her endorsement would have made a huge difference.
