Newt’s record of selling out conservatives and our values is just as lengthy. I’ve done my homework on Newt’s “record of accomplishment”, especially what he’s done since he was booted out of congress.
For some, he may be saying the right things while running for office, but just a couple years ago he was trashing the tea party and everything it stood for. A couple of empty soundbites or “gotcha” applause lines in a debate are not enough to make ammends.

He also says “I understand what it means to ....” an awful lot. Starting to sound like nails on a chalkboard.

Yeah, that is why he consistently voted against Reagan and is one of the biggest. He is not only a nut on our defense but a hypocrite when it comes to fiscal Conservatism. Other than that he should be supported on FR.

He’s a lot more “fair” since he got fired by NPR!

< < How in the world does one reduce the demand for drugs? > >
Legalize drugs, then show what happens to the users. Most drug users will end up in a prison of their own making -- and it won't take long for others to see that is not the way to live.

Such a great debate tonight. Hope it reduces Romney's lead. Newt hit some home runs for sure. And a standing Ovation! I am feeling good. I am channeling a message for S. Carolina, Don’t commit Romneycide. LOL

Just FYI There are no elk on the East Coast but we have forestloads of horny Moose in the spring who run accross the highways and by ways killing people in car accidents constantly. There is an Elk County, Pennsylvania -- so named for the presence of a substantial elk herd.
From a history of Elk County:
As everyone knows, Elk County is named for the noble animal that once abounded in great numbers. Today, Pennsylvania's only elk herd roams freely over the area bounded by Elk and Cameron Counties.

and it won't take long for others to see that is not the way to live.If that were true, then by now there would be no demand for drugs....it's not as if the evidence hasn't been out there for years....Neil Young wrote "The Needle and the Damage Done" over 40 years ago.

Newt Gingrich took the paddles and drove a jolt through SC and the nation tonight. His campaign is still alive. It is not too late! Great analogy!

Right. The moderators (egos) simply will not understand that they will never OWN Newt Gingrich. He will shove their nonsense down their throats and get a standing ovation in doing so.
This is the Newt I remember, and I love it as well.

The fact that that guy is still walking around...:(
Regarding Malcolm X. I have looked at a lot of footage, and I dont think I have ever seen a more impressive display of raw intellectual power. The progression from the day he was let loose, at that first presser, to what the guy was like two years later. Stunned me. Don;t know what way he would have went if he had lived. A potential Hitler, or something else. Maybe a jihadist? Obama looks like Mr.Little, but man, X had twice the IQ.

Actually unless its changed...I dont think JR is banning Paulies?
he will ban serious Mittens folks
and I have seen some stealth mods bag the occasional Palin or Cain detractor...and you have to wonder why now huh?
I think the Palin and Cain detractors that were banned, were banned for the same reason the two Perry supporters I saw that were banned - for being asses.

Hey there, master and commander! Haven’t seen you around lately. Nice to see you handle here tonight.
I wasn’t very clear, was I? I was referring to Santorum’s pesky and petulant tone in the interview following the debate, with Hannity on FOX. During the debate Santorum was all over Romney. After the debate, he was all over NEWT. I thought all the indicators of panic, fear and desperation were all over him, in that moment. I hope I am right too. :) Rita.

If you stripped out the Islam part, Malcolm’s message was pretty much conservative: Get an education, don’t rely on government handouts, etc.
Sure beats the message the Black Panthers put out there.

Just image running this the next 3 days while loading up for bear for the Thursday night CNN debate. He really can turn this campaign around fast. I really hope he does!
With the MSM and the candidates themselves placing so much misguided emphasis on South Carolina, Thursday night's debate is going to be either a dud where everybody tries to play it safe and give answers that were run through a dozen test audiences, or the gloves will really come off.
I'm irritated that Gingrich and Perry have placed so much emphasis on SC when they both surely know it's an open primary. How are they going to respond if the Democrats and Libertarians come through for Willard and RuPaul? Gingrich could wind up in 2nd or 3rd and Perry in last place.
The MSM will then go after them and run their comments about how important SC is and then point out where they placed.
