Iran said Saturday it has evidence that the United States was behind the assassination of an Iranian nuclear scientist this week in Tehran, state media reported.

Iran may have killed him themselves, just so they could use his death as a bloody rag to wave at the crowds to incite violence against Israel and the US. He was killed AFTER the new uranium enrichment facility was up and running, so they didn’t need him alive any more. If it had been the US or Israel, he would have been offed long before that time. Afterwards is unnecessary...........
I agree. It looks like an inside job. But these types of things are catnip for the likes of Run Paul and his fellow keepers of esoteric knowledge.
Interesting idea.
Haven’t there been 3-4 of these killings. Is Iran trying to wipe out their own program?
It seems that the Iranians have a knack for offing their own, after the person has fulfilled their purposes. Killing for the sake of Allah would not be unheard of............
He’s the first one to have ties to the opposition. But to be honest I’m more concerned the Iranian assistance to those who kill Iraqis, Lebanese, Syrians, Israelis, Afghans, Palestinians, and Americans, not necessarily in that order. Run Paul blames all the chaos in the Middle East and Southwest Asia on the gringos, which considering his weird worldview where a traitor like Bradley Manning is called a hero, isn’t too surprising. It’s dumbed down Orwellian Libertarianism. It’s no wonder, too, that it appeals to the young and the stupid.
Points not at issue with me.
Another natural gas leak tragedy.

Now, that’s the ironclad evidence that we can expect from Iran.
If Iran did carry out the assassinations of their own scientists, look at them as “encounter killings” or extrajudicial punishment. Elimination after they serve no useful purpose other than to incite anger against us.
If any country sponsored the killings consider them as therapeutic late term abortions.
These days it’s much more likely that the CIA would be helping them build new mosques instead of assasinating them.
Exactly, I don't believe the US had anything to do with it.
Do you have any factual evidence of this or are you just making it up? Ron Paul is always being accused of associating with "conspiracy theorists". You sound like one of them.
Bush Authorizes New Covert Action Against Iran
It's obvious except to the most brainwashed that the criminals that have hijacked the US government are going to launch an unprovoked war against Iran just like they did against Iraq, Syria, Libya, etc. The assassinations, the bombings, the oil embargo, the sanctions are being done to provoke Iran into retaliating and creating the justification in the Corporate Media faux-reality for an all out attack.
And just like those other unprovoked wars based on lies that means more innocent people are going to be killed, more of American soldiers are going to be killed and maimed for life, more taxpayer's Trillions wasted, and what are the American people going to get out this war? Nothing but heartache, dire economic hardship, liberties lost, and a big fat bill.
I don't "Blame America" for this. Our government is controlled by criminal usurpers, Barry Soetoro in their TV pitchman, that do not represent the will or interests of the American people and in fact work night and day to bring down Western Civilization and reduce our country to a Third-World pit. Iran is an annoying gnat compared to these Stalins and Hitlers that are destroying the country RIGHT NOW.
I’ve asked you and asked you to stop posting photos of my family reunion on Free Republic. We all ride around in a Chevy Volt, and a hundred of us get out, but the last few are usually on fire.
I see they put the flames out.
