One of the best articles I’ve seen on where we are headed.

I have often imagined what the world would have been like if Geena and Susan were actually in the car as it went over the cliff. One of the worst premised movies of all time.

Basically you could have named it Girls and Made of Sugar and Spice and everything Nice, and All Men Suck.

I never saw that movie. Two women were trying to jump the Grand Canyon in a T-Bird? They didn’t learn anything from Evil Knievel? You know, they should’ve used a new car with air bags. They coulda had a sequel. THELMA AND LOUISE PART II: BENEATH THE PLANET OF THE APES WITH AIRBAGS - featuring Nancy Pelosi as an airbag.

Newt is really damaged goods, and Romney is Obama’s and the ruling class of the GOP’s turkey, IMHO.

That being the case, Newt needs to take out Romney for Santorum, IMHO, or it will be Romney or a brokered convention.

When I first watched that scene, twenty years ago, my primary emotion involved the tragic loss of that '66 Thunderbird.

I don't care who you are, that right there is hilarious!!!

When Thelma and Louise drove off the cliff; it was a perfect metaphor, for what was happening inside the 'feminist movement' . Their suicide; at least signaled, the beginning of the 'end'.

And yes; the determination and the stubbornness of current GOP/RNC is acting out it's own self-defeating metaphor. A shot in both feet; so to speak.

Such willful ignorance perped by so many Repubs. Sad; but true.

Witnessing the GOP contests in Iowa and New Hampshire has been much like watching Louise stomp on the accelerator of that beautiful car. It's so easy to foresee the slow-motion descent into the electoral abyss and so seemingly impossible to prevent what should be an unnecessary tragedy.

At first I thought the article was about the RINO immigration policy. Non-white immigrants always vote majority Democrat. This may be the last presidential elections where Republicans, demographically, even have a chance.
