I was on both Newt and Cain ping lists, so I don't have anything backward. I remain all in for Gingrich because is remains the best candidate for POTUS and CIC.

I can't vote in South Carolina and you can't either, so this is all talk.

Newt has my financial support, my prayers and best wishes.

If he can't rebound to the top where he belongs, I'll support the one who stops Romney, if that's possible.

In the meantime: GO NEWT!!!

Public Policy Polling (PPP) is an American Democratic Party-affiliated polling firm based in Raleigh, North Carolina.[1][2][3] PPP was founded in 2001 by businessman and Democratic pollster Dean Debnam, the firm’s current president and chief executive officer.

Wake up, people!

Someone who gets it. Thank you.

Conservatives lose because, as a general rule, we are more familiar with tech-oriented knowledge than ‘soft’ topics such as group-think, the bandwagon effect, and herding behavior. The “touchy-feeling” liberals at the .edu KNOW this and laugh. These are the same liberals who are accused by conservatives as missing half their brain cells.

By posting and discussing these polls, particularly from Public Policy Polling, we are being led like sheep to a slaughter.

Your behavior borders on obsessional. If you spent 1/2 as much time building your own candidate UP instead of tearing one of them DOWN, you would be much more effective in ensuring obama isn’t re-elected.

We have a president that should be easy to beat and once again it appears the gop is going with a rino. Is it me? or am I interpreting the debates and candidates records differently?

It's you, but you're not alone. You are seeing exactly what liberals and The GOP-E want you to see. You're making your interpretations based on biased (and therefore skewed) data, such as this liberal poll. See my previous replies about group manipulation via polls. Ignore it and fight!

We can see how the first conservative state primary turns out. But at that point, we need to put aside our favorite and vote for the one who did the best in SC: Santorum, Gingrich, and perry.

That's how i see it. What's the rush when the stakes are so high? Wait and see which one of them shines in SC, then proceed to FL full steam ahead and call on the other two to bail on it, get behind the front runner, and help smash Romney's smart-a$$ smirk deep into the Florida Everglades muck so he'll never be seen nor heard from again.

Well, maybe we could let him crawl out to vote next November, but then he has to disappear again. ;)

Ok, i take that back. SC is another open primary where anybody and their dog can vote, which means, just like IA, it won’t be accurate due to crossover voting.

FL is closed, according to the site below. Whoever is ahead after FL, THEN we coalesce.

http://www.fairvote.org/congressional-and-presidential-primaries-open-closed-semi-closed-and-top-two#.Twp1hHJvpPg

This crap with liberals and GOP-E choosing our candidate has GOT to be changed.

If the democrats win this election, it is doubtful we will ever save our republic. Truthfully, I think that line was crossed in 2008.

I agree entirely. We are in far more danger of loosing this country than most of the citizens realize. People I speak with and see on the street are still very much in the dark, though they know things are bad they don't understand the significance of politics in this....they are into the blame wall-street...blame the banks...blame the insurance companies...and any other body they can blame except for the politicians.....it's very discouraging to see people in the dark as they are.

Heads up people....this needs to be read...and not forgotten!!!

......”I have been all about beating Mitt Romney, and doing so state by state if need be, denying him every possible delegate every step of the way.

Now it looks as if sheer stubborness and/or some warped purity is going to do to us in SC what it did in 2008.

Don’t you get it? It doesn’t matter if Santorum finishes in third with 19% or second with 20% - same with Newt - it won’t make a lick of difference because ROMNEY WILL GET ALL OF THE DELEGATES!!!!!!”......

Romney is just too much to ask. Sorry.

Agreed. I'll vote for any of the other of the Republican candidates. But not Mitt Romney.

Indeed. Conservative votes split among multiple candidates, allowing a RINO to win with a weak plurality. The only mitigating circumstance this year is that the GOP has been moving away from winner-take-all primaries toward proportional allocation of delegates. I don’t know exactly how many states have each system at present, though.

If the Republican National Convention takes place with Romney having more delegates than any other one candidate, but still just a weak plurality, the other candidates’ delegates, a majority, could refuse to vote for Romney as the nominee under any circumstances. However, some candidates will likely soon fold their tents, leaving Romney, either Gingrich or Santorum as the conservative challenger, along with Ron Paul’s traveling circus. Obviously, the conservative challenger will need to the ability to raise enough money to compete with Romney’s mountain of establishment cash.

>>I still think Perry is the better candidate.

That would be because of his debate performances?

Why push Gingrich before Santorum? Santorum doesn't have ANY garbage in his record, but Gingrich has TONS of it.

Surely you realize that the Obama machine will DESTROY Gingrich over this kind of stuff.

We need to get back to a candidate who is as likeable, Conservative and approachable as Reagan was, and Santorum is the closest thing there is.

Santorum is the spoiler candidate for 2012 unless some of us wake up quick and go another way.

Government really needs to be cut and we don’t need anymore Medicare Part D schemes from Republicans to increase the national debt.

Open primaries suck.

The only problem with waiting ‘til FL to coalesce is that we have to withstand one more Romney Knighting Ceremony in the press. If we can stand it, we can wait. But we need to all vote for the one guy post Florida.

Yeah, i’ll be boycotting the TV news after NH — it’s nauseating. But i’ll be popping the popcorn for the SC primary when hopefully Sir Romney will be sent packing.

Newt should win, but there's a huge problem. If Romney's super pac ads could take Newt down that far in Iowa, inagine what Zero could do to him in the general. I've been all "who really cares about the baggage," but obviously people really do care.

A 27 minute video that most will not watch will not harm Romney. The way to get this guy is to fluster him in the debates. He flusters very eaily & makes an ass out of himself. Not sure why these guys don't pounce on that.
