Our governor, Rick Snyder, just stated as much on a TV interview last night. He’s trying to construct a bridge between Detroit and Canada, but there’s a private entity who wants to build it with his own money. The Republican legislature didn’t pass it last year, so he said he’s going to go it alone. Don’t know if that means he’ll try to put it in a general election, or (more likely) pull an 0bama trick and sign some executive order.

Earnest said that the White House's goal was to contrast the image of a "gridlocked, dysfunctional Congress" with "a president who's leaving no stone unturned to try to find solutions to the difficult financial challenges and economic challenges facing this country."

Hey Obama, no matter how dysfunction the congress may be there is still a Constitution that you swore to uphold. It can wait.

So his eminence plans to run the country through 2012 as the dictator he aspires to become should there be enough uninformed voters to reelect him.

but will otherwise limit his dealings with an unpopular Congress

Just how popular do you think the Commie in chief is? Sure the Congress gets the worst approval in a century, but it was THE DEM Congress that did that. With the help of a few RINOs.

But remember this comes from the LA Times.

Obama’s goal for 2012 -— do nothing and vote present.

THIS is how we should frame this argument!

What kind of leader just gives up trying to work with others?

The Executive Orders will just be ignored. They will be unenforceable. The resulting law suits by the AG will be dropped before they can be litigated

Why not just build a solid gold throne in Honolulu and rule the world from there?

While Obama might try to create the label of “Do-Nothing Congress”, our nominee can create the label of “Do-Nothing President”

I suggest we all start putting some pressure on the Senate and our Congress people to stop this madness. We the people voted to stop Obama’s agenda by getting as many Republicans into Congress that we could. Congress has been very successful in stopping Obama’s agenda and I am certain that it is very frustrating to him but we cannot afford to have him act as Dictator. We should also call the White House and have our voices heard. We did this when he was first elected and now we MUST continue before he drags this country into the abyss! We must get organized and do it now!

So in other words, Obama has to decided to become the dictator he always has been.

A Congress with a measure of spine would slap this idiot down at every turn.

Obama does not consider the rest of his policy agenda to be a "must-do" for lawmakers

So, is he saying he doesn't need a 2nd term? This makes it sound like he did all he needs to in his Presidency.

WELCOME TO CUBA

Obama would be well-served by continuing to distance himself from a Congress.

If Obama could just get rid of Congress altogether and be Dear Leader, he would be so, so happy.

All of this Obama stuff is worrisome to me, as it is to you folks. Yet it drives me to God, which is a good thing. Though I only see ONE solution to man’s problems, it is specifically Christian: Jesus! As a nation, though, there might be something we can try:

God has continued to work through nations in spite of their current sinful condition, so though we might “deserve” a perverted man as our CIC, is it any more deserving than any of the other nations with far more corrupted systems?

Maybe as in the olden times—I’m thinking of Nineveh—we can spend our 2012 calling on the Lord, repenting of the sins we find in OUR homes (not the supposedly worse ones we find in others’ homes), and asking for HIM to deal with these wicked men in D.C.

Of course He will deal with them in due time, but perhaps we can collectively ask Him to deal with some of them now, as a warning to the others. The Lord can take out anyone He wants at any time, or even humiliate them in such a way they wish they’d been taken out. This isn’t for mere revenge, but in the interests of re-establishing Justice and Honor to our government. Evil men have never belonged in any government before God, they should be exposed and removed.

His power is mighty, let’s ask Him to deal with our enemies (and further, to deal with the work of the Enemy of our souls as he tries to destroy each one of us).

Obama is taking a leaf directly out of Hugo Chavez’s dictator’s manual 101 for making executive orders. Scary stuff.
