Buddy of mine just heard it on a Dominican radio station Can anyone confirm this?
Must have gotten jealous of seeing all the “heart-felt” weeping in North Korea over their Dear Leader’s demise.
Thanks for the truth.
I wonder how many Americans fall for the staging?
That is why I have kept every Ham radio I ever owned someday soon they will be worth more than gold. I still listen to a lot of this even today.
A lot of people didnt know a lot more came over those carriers than just voice and music, like pictures and even slow scan TV.
That will be the best gift to the long suffering Cuban People. The Commies will limp along for a while but—its doomed—soon we can all go to Habana and enjoy the Copacabana! Cuba Libre!
2011 has been a bad year for commies and dictators.

LOL, brilliant! If I wasnt at work I’d try to piece together a “Hell looks a lot like Cuba” pic, a la Bon Jovi.
I LOVE FR...!
No one where I am knows this and we have it BEFORE CNN...!
Why watch news anywhere else EVAR...?!
is it on CNN now?
If true BO will take credit for killing him.
checking Twitter (for the record I never wish death on anybody)
They do come in threes though
On Tweet by @joelpollak says:
“Internet rumor, psbl false alarm, too good to check? Aprntly Dominican rdio reports Fidel Castro dead acc. to Cuban foreign ministry source?”
Radio Havana’s website seems very slow to update. I wouldn’t depend on it.
According to several different radio and news reports, Cuban dictator Fidel Castro is dead. However, Pundit Press has not been able to independently verify these reports.
With Castro's advanced age, it is not out of the realm of possibilities that he has died. Yet, with exuberance over the death of Kim Jong Il, it is possible that reports of Castro's death could have been made up.
We will continue to monitor the situation.
Maybe Jimmy Carter will follow Hugo?
It’ll be an idiot quintfecta this year if Fidel goes too.
Strange how this year is shaping up. All the old time tyrants and terrible leaders are dropping this year, including maybe Putin.
Strange.
I don’t know if anyone posted anything on this yet—I didn’t check all the posts. But “El Día de los Santos Inocentes” (today, Dec 28th) apparently is the Latin equivalent of our April Fool’s Day.
“The 28th of December is “Innocents’ Day” [in Spanish “El Día de los Santos Inocentes”], similar in spirit to the American April Fools’ Day. On this day, people play “inocentadas” (pranks or practical jokes) on friends and relatives: people make jokes hoping that the victim believes the false thing. When people get caught, the joker says: “Inocente, inocente!” (”Innocent, innocent!”). The newspapers and other media are in on the joke as well, reporting false news for the people to figure out. ...”

La Prensa de Cuba, Granma, Radio Habana, all nada.
Probably false alarm.
Also, informed sources in Miami will know long before it is officially announced.
You're not. Many made the same wish for him the last time he died.
