Syrian's hold up sign for the world to see, which says "Obama's Procrastination kills us! We miss Bush's audacity. The world is better with America's Republicans."
"5,000 Syrians have been massacred by Bashar Assad since March, including 300 children. How are those sanctions workin out, Mr. Obama?"
Class is a good word for him.
I really would have liked to see him, or someone in his admin, just cut loose on the turds on the other side, though...
Just once would have been nice.
Rumsfeld tried and was the darling of many here for a long time but they succumed to the MSM propaganda and applauded when the MSM successfully ran him out of the admninistration.
I loved the guy and always will.
As a side note, if John Bolton becomes a member of the next administration, I suspect him to become a target for elimination by the MSM and moderate Republicans also.......
Bolton is another good one.
Yeah, they’ll take their shots at him...but I get the impression he’s the kind of man that’ll tell them to go f*** themselves, in no uncertain terms.
It’s why I could never be a politician. I would just that, and make it a habit of doing so every time a camera or a microphone were anywhere near me.
But not surprising
Very well said
Great post
Yep..but of course the Times never picks it right to begin with...the favor crooks, dictators, and Obama.
I fully agree rlmorel....I am very proud of the opportunities our nation has given others without the adequate means to fight for themselves and win....Although I do get a little testy about the extremes we go to to re-build their nations for they tend to take advantage and expect this to continue indefinately. Rather like those on welfare in our nation.
Me too...I remember well when Bush said his cabinet would be Cheney, Rumsfield and Powell.....I said to my son then that something big was coming to have that powerhouse standing there with Bush..it was a formidable sight to see....They are BIG MEN in every sense of that word and they certainly filled the shoes they wore when 9/11 hit. God bless them all! They kept us safe...and did the job they were called to do.
When you really look at it..who else could have done any better with the knowlege that was avaiable to us in how the M.E. works...or better said doesn't work or think as the rest of the world does.
You and I agree on this. At the end of the day...it is on them.
We are blessed. We once lived under what we perceived to be a tyrannical rule, and did not feel that England was treating us fairly. It may be that we were at a single and very unique point in history where there were educated, intelligent and principled men who were willing to risk it all for an idea that became the United States.
That may have been unique. I would like to think it wasn’t, but time will tell. If they fail, it isn’t because the opportunity to succeed wasn’t handed to them on a silver platter of our own treasure, stained with the blood of our people. We DID try to pass it on to them, the blessings that we have.
We didn’t do it for altruistic purposes. We did it for two reasons: We had a vested, selfish national security interest in the outcome, and that was the right way to do it.
But the fact that it wasn’t wholly altruistic in no way detracts from it. I am proud of what we did there, and I am proud of our military and the way they conducted themselves.
I HATED this sneaking out in the middle of the night BS. It made me sick. But you know what? With this POS in the White House, I am glad to have them out, because he would only stab more of our own people in the back. He didn’t support our military, he never did, and he never will.
We should have a damned ticker tape parade in the “Canyon of Heroes” for all of those who served. We won’t, but we damned well should.
Thank you, Kaslin. High praise from a Freeper like yourself...:)
GW Bush was one fine president. We were blessed to have him those eight years.
I agree. At some point, they have to be cut loose and fend for themselves. Unless we were going to make it a colony and drain it of oil (which liberal jackasses never seem to be able to convince themselves of any other intention, even though we are nearly a decade in there and have never taken a gallon of oil by force) then we give them their opportunity, and see how it goes.
I went to see Rumsfeld speak in Boston a couple of months ago. Great time, even having to walk through the gauntlet of liberal idiots with their stupid drums and chants, calling you a criminal for supporting a war criminal.
How I hate liberalism and kool-aid drinking liberals.
I just wish Rumsfeld hadn’t come out on the side of those advocating for open homosexuals in the military. I haven’t been able to come to terms with him since then. It was very disillusioning.
It was the senile POS Carter who started that. Every President before him, liberal and conservative, adhered to that unwritten code. Now, every liberal idiot who held the office feels obliged to make the job of the current president difficult, but only if it is a conservative.
Can you imagine what the dumbass in the White House right now is going to be like when he leaves office?
Great. Just about the time Carter will finally shut up for good, there will be another ex-presidential moonbat to carry the a-hole torch.
“L’audace, l’audace, toujours l’audace.”
>> That was a wordy sign.
Apparently you missed the first two signs.
