You and I agree on this. At the end of the day...it is on them.

We are blessed. We once lived under what we perceived to be a tyrannical rule, and did not feel that England was treating us fairly. It may be that we were at a single and very unique point in history where there were educated, intelligent and principled men who were willing to risk it all for an idea that became the United States.

That may have been unique. I would like to think it wasn’t, but time will tell. If they fail, it isn’t because the opportunity to succeed wasn’t handed to them on a silver platter of our own treasure, stained with the blood of our people. We DID try to pass it on to them, the blessings that we have.

We didn’t do it for altruistic purposes. We did it for two reasons: We had a vested, selfish national security interest in the outcome, and that was the right way to do it.

But the fact that it wasn’t wholly altruistic in no way detracts from it. I am proud of what we did there, and I am proud of our military and the way they conducted themselves.

I HATED this sneaking out in the middle of the night BS. It made me sick. But you know what? With this POS in the White House, I am glad to have them out, because he would only stab more of our own people in the back. He didn’t support our military, he never did, and he never will.

We should have a damned ticker tape parade in the “Canyon of Heroes” for all of those who served. We won’t, but we damned well should.

“...I am proud of what we did there, and I am proud of our military and the way they conducted themselves...”

Absolutely, spot-on.

In spite of what libs and other home-grown morons think, our folks ARE the people who oppressed folks want to see coming over the hill.

“...With this POS in the White House, I am glad to have them out, because he would only stab more of our own people in the back. He didn’t support our military, he never did, and he never will....”

He can’t support them, because he doesn’t know how. His whole life was spent around radical communist/socialist/liberal freaks and he’s been educated to believe that we’re the source of bad in the world - or, more specifically, white America is the source. It’s hard to shake off that kind of conditioning.

I’ve never seen an American president BOW to anyone, until this clown came along. Hope I never have to see it again. That action speaks volumes to how he sees himself, and the country.

So yes, your point about bringing our folks out is a good one indeed.
