A young couple hopping railroad cars across the country was found dead under a mound of coal at a Florida power plant.

Christopher Artes, 25, and Medeana Hendershot, 22, shared a passion for illegally hopping freight trains and traveling the country without a set plan...

At least they died doing the thing they love most.

How many people are able to do that?

“they probably were crushed”

You’re half right:

FTA:

“But they do know that Artes died from asphyxiation—meaning that he was likely buried alive. Hendershot died from blunt force trauma to the mid-section, meaning that she likely died from falling or by having coal fall on her.”

My grandfather hopped trains and saw the entire US and made some money boxing after he was kicked out of school. (He survived). Of course, that was when men had to take risks as little children, so the real idiots like the above were weeded out in the Darwinian sense.

Granted—freak accidents did not mean a person is an idiot-—I am just using hyperbole. Risk is essential to build character—courage—common sense. Some will be unlucky—it is life.

Marxists are trying to destroy the patriarchy—men—through the feminist movement (Friedan=Communist) and homosexuality (Hays=Communist and pederast and sodomized as boy (learned)). That is why all boys are made to sit and conform and vilified if they move (Prussian system of education for mass conformity and mass indoctrination) and all competitive sports are eliminated or everyone gets trophies so “excellence” is killed and discouraged.

Marxism (our school curricula) forces the elimination of a worldview where there is a God—there is Supra Positive law—Objective Truth—which is the basis of Rule of Law (a standard of jurisprudence which is antithetical to Barney’s filthy habits—arbitrary laws based on nonsense and lies about nature, instead of “God’s Laws”. )

Character has to be habituated-—practiced. Schools habituate disrespect for parents by teaching ideas that parents disagree with. They condition children into believing lies about nature-—Heather has two mommies. This cognitive dissonance given to young children prevent a foundation for logic and reason and formation of moral character. You get hedonists/marxists useful idiots—ACORN type thinkers.

That’s my point: the train still had to come to a stop, and the noise (of unloading) must’ve been tremendous. (Unless they were in the first car—that I failed to consider).

Yes - I'll bet their last thoughts were "This is really great! we're dying in a pile of coal. I'd much rather be doing this than dying of a heart attack 50 years from now."

The chick probably got hit when the car loader began and the dumbass dude likely ran to the other end and was covered in a few seconds.

The article MSM writer probably didn’t get much of the story right very doubtful there are any “bottom dump” unloaders that drop into a truck with coal going to a power plant operating in Florida these days. Bottom dumper cars are old technology and are much slower unloading than rotary unloaders, where the whole railcar actually is turned upside down dumping to 100+tons all at once.

Some years ago a fellow from my hometown was stopped at a train crossing and for some reason, the train was not moving. He got out of his ten year old pickup to have a closer look at some new Ford pickup trucks on one of the rail cars. Finding the door unlocked, he slipped inside when the train started to move.
He scrambled out but the train was moving too quickly to make a safe jump.
He got back inside at the train made its way from tiny Mystic, Iowa down to Kansas City.
His old pickup was still parked, idling at the train crossing when a highway patrolman happened by. A search of the town's bars turned up nothing.
Four hours later, the guy called his wife and asked if she could drive down to KCMO to pick him up.
It was a long time before he lived the story down...

Gee, that’s a high price to pay for just hopping a train.

Hobos in the depression did it all the time. Most of them made it to the Big Rock Candy Mountain alive.
