The last debate before the January 3rd Iowa caucuses is being held tonight in Sioux City.

We get seven candidates at this debate: Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, Ron Paul, Rick Perry, Michele Bachmann, Rick Santorum and Jon Huntsman.

Fox's Bret Baier anchors the debate. Fox News panelists questioning the candidates: Chris Wallace, Megyn Kelly and Neil Cavuto.

I want to know why bachmann is afraid of questions from Trump when she can easily spew things against Newt.

So far most boring campaign ever...you'd think FoxNews would put up some decent moderators.

Michele Bachmann now in attack mode on Newt Gingrich. I have to admire her for her consistency. Newt is vulnerable for taking money from Freddie Mac. Large applause for Bachmann.

Newt responds by saying that what Bachmann says is untrue. Michele has a shocked look on her face...this should be good...

Bachmann responds...maintains Newt was a lobbyist for Freddie Mac and collected $1.6m. She wants to SHUT DOWN these government enterprises.

Newt responds again by stating he did nothing wrong by taking the money...gets lukewarm applause.

I have been upset about Newt since I have been listening to Beck describe and point out Newt’s progressive bent. that has me questioning Newt...I like Newt, I think he could do it, but his gaffs and well, the progressive stuff. BTW, Perry is doing great tonight.

I have heard Beck go off on Newt.

It's not hard to find stuff on any of these guys. The ones who are qualified all have their faults.IT does not matter with the others Bachman included.

But when push comes to shove what is Becks alternative? Third party? Michelle, Santorum,Paul? None of these solutions work.

Beck is waaaay out on the tangent side.

He's become mr. 100%. If he can't have a 100% candidate he picks up his marbles and goes home. That's not reality. None are perfect.

I really don’t like Bachman’s slice and dice on Newt. She comes off as narrow and angling for any attention at all. She’s gone down in my eyes.
