The last debate before the January 3rd Iowa caucuses is being held tonight in Sioux City.

We get seven candidates at this debate: Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, Ron Paul, Rick Perry, Michele Bachmann, Rick Santorum and Jon Huntsman.

Fox's Bret Baier anchors the debate. Fox News panelists questioning the candidates: Chris Wallace, Megyn Kelly and Neil Cavuto.

I wonder if Perry will mention Tebow after the Broncos get crushed by the Patriots on Sunday.

Romney spouting platitudes.

Newt talking about how he reached across the aisle to work with Bill Clinton...yikes.

Ron Paul...I keep hearing "I Yutz Go Nutz on Christmas...on that Yolly Holiday..."

Michele Bachmann sounding Reaganesque on how the American people are overtaxed....

Mitt had to get along with the Mass Speaker of the House...he doesn’t tell you that the (former) speaker is now a convicted felon.

Newt has threatened to do what Lincoln did...everywhere that Stephen Douglas went, Lincoln showed up 4 hours later to correct the "Little Giant," Douglas finally got sick of it and agreed to joint appearances.

Of course, it IS true that Lincoln LOST that election.

Bachmann would have had all 535 in Congress sit down to come up with solutions on the economy, etc.

They couldn’t even get a dozen to come up with solutions, Michelle. All 535 sitting down would result in zero getting done.

Agreed, especially on a budget issue. I’m glad Bachmann didn’t support Boehner 2.0 when the RINOs jumped on it seconds after the Ryan Budget was stopped by Harry Reid.

Newt is fantastic tonight. Answering the questions rapidly and with substance. Comparing O to Saul Alinsky ...lmao. I really think Gingrich wants to debate Obama so bad he is itching..
