All the rich people she knows ARE being taxed. They pay very little because their accountants find copious deductions and loopholes and keep lots of dough offshore. Thereby ensuring their clients pay very little in taxes.
So...this "Tax us" horse puckey is just that. Have all these rich people call their 'people' and say...cut the crap. There. Done.
I'm guessing this will not happen.
That being said ... if anyone wants to contribute to the gubermint they are welcome to write a check .... just keep your !@#$%^&* hands out of my pocket
I agree with both of you...private charities/businesses always make better use of money than the government does. I was just pointing out the fact that there is nothing stopping her from doing what she is clamoring for. It is akin to Jane standing at one of those automatic supermarket doors and screaming “let me in” after it slides open.

A huge distinction, which the vast majority of people miss, in any discussion of taxation.
Well all my poor friends say lets all go and TAKE 100% of all the Millionaires Cash and Property. So what does that prove? some of them are Vietnam Vets,including myself and we would all like to give that pig Fonda A swift Kick in the ass!
