BIG BEND NATIONAL PARK, Texas (AP) -- The bloody drug war in Mexico shows no sign of relenting. Neither do calls for tighter border security amid rising fears of spillover violence.
This hardly seems a time the U.S. would be willing to allow people to cross the border legally from Mexico without a customs officer in sight. But in this rugged, remote West Texas terrain where wading across the shallow Rio Grande undetected is all too easy, federal authorities are touting a proposal to open an unmanned port of entry as a security upgrade.
By the spring, kiosks could open up in Big Bend National Park allowing people from the tiny Mexican town of Boquillas del Carmen to scan their identity documents and talk to a customs officer in another location, at least 100 miles away.

Step 2: Unmanned voting booths along side all these kiosks in time for 2112 election.
Step 3: Obama gets AS MANY votes AS HE NEEDS from that polling location to win Texas and thereby the nation.
THIS would be a security UPGRADE???

Gov. Rick Perrys meeting at the Austin airport with President Barack Obama on border security lasted a mere 34 seconds, and Perry had to hand a letter on the issue to presidential adviser Valerie Jarrett because Obama declined to personally accept it.

“US proposes surrender to Mexico”
>>Why even have a border<<
Border, we have a border? I mean, are you sure?

Sounds like a very good plan.
I think we should change our motto from E pluribus unum to WTF?
Let me fix that just a tad:
It's crystal clear that the people that are elected to run this country are absolutely dead set on detroying it and creating a marxist bloody revolution.
Completely insane unless you want the southwestern states to become northern Mexico! I think Hobama would like that! Less states fr him to have to count!
That is the sad thing about it, there is no border crossing there now.
The reason there is no crossing is that this is in the middle of nowhere and it is not cost effective to have a crossing out there.
So now we are going to build an unmanned crossing?
This is a Government boondoggle pure and simple.
Spend a wad of cash and accomplish nothing.
Boots on the ground and aerial surveillance work in places like these.
Maybe we should just issue birth certificates, naturalization documents, and social security numbers from vending machines. Seriously, is treason still on the books?
So it is being done so Obama can get the illegal votes.I wonder if the tax payers are paying for the pamphlet in spanish telling them to move to NC,NM or some other state as they don’t need a drivers license?

Good question.
You are correct, let the citizens manage the border and the border would be secure.
Yep, they even monitor websites just like this to gather intelligence on American citizens.
DHS grants to small town law enforcement agencies to purchase advanced surveillance technology, drones and the like.
TSA groping the elderly, folks with medical devices, in wheel chairs, little kids.
Americans are the suspects it seems.
