I do too. I tend to gravitate toward candidates who can speak in complete and coherent sentences (with depth).
Agree! Huckabee really nailed it in coming up with this format. The others certainly aren’t “debates” anyway, and this format serves the purpose much better.
Yes we must turn this nation around, but I liken it to turning a bus around with the same old bus-drivers.
We get a bone tossed to us once in a while, but if you look at the ideas these louts toss out, they’re the same ones that cost us so many other elections, so many other failed attempts at getting things back on track, so many other bills that failed miserably.
Oh yes we’re compassionate alright. Just ask any middle-class working stiff, who has to pay the tab for all the compassion.
We’re getting ripped off for tens of billions of dollars per years, but you know what, we can’t offend the folks who make this nation purr. No, not the Thomas Jefferson, Madison, Franklin types, it’s Manny Alvarez, Lupe Gatierez, and tens of millions of their children.
I was taping every debate, and it finally dawned on me, who bother? The folks I back will NEVER get the nod. No, we’ll let some floozie with no job, no rep, no brains, and not coherent explanations for what she’s charging, ruin a good man and put his family through hell.

I have to agree that his demeanor is strange. He always seems harried or angry or annoyed. It’s one thing to be assertive or pointed but he’s off-putting to me. I just want to say, calm down man, make your point without me thinking you’re gong to go postal any minute.
I think he’s probably a nice man, but no charisma at all. Watch him, when he’s stressed about his answers he looks like he’s clinching his teeth. Or maybe that’s just how he looks....

I agree. Wish people could remember what he did for us in the 80’S on C Span and in the 90’s. No one got more abuse from the MSM then him. Ever. Period. Left the House with a ACU rating of 100% That is as high as you can get. Nice format.
Newt has spent plenty of time on both sides of most issues. He can’t be wrong.

Santorum is by far the best combination of experience and ideological purity....but there’s something I can’t put my finger on about him that seems not quite right. The only way I’ve been able to describe it is that he seems like the kid who wanted to be the Jr. High School Hall Monitor.
