Santorum is by far the best combination of experience and ideological purity....but there’s something I can’t put my finger on about him that seems not quite right. The only way I’ve been able to describe it is that he seems like the kid who wanted to be the Jr. High School Hall Monitor.

Hank

His mouth and teeth sometimes look like Dilbert’s Pointy Haired Boss when he is mad about something.

Santorum has given details about what he would do as President.

Newt gave generalities.

Santorum seems a little spastic. He speaks as if he’s in a great hurry.

I would love to have Cain here tonight to have him explain his reliance on the Super Committee to pass 999.

He seems to be doing well.

But you are right.

HS hall monitor.

Yes, Santorum strikes me as a bit overbearing.

Santorum - he’s in his 50’s but his demeanor is like a kid in the 6th grade raising his hand hoping that the teacher calls on him so he can prove he’s really smart, right before he goes home and drinks the Ovaltine his Mom made for him.

Not that there’s anything wrong with Ovaltine.

“Santorum ....but there’s something I can’t put my finger on about him that seems not quite right.”

He’s overbearing and smarmy.

Needless to say, it’s not very heartwarming.

I find he has a holier than thou quality. Also talks about himself too much.
