Mitt talking to Bret Baier the other night, sounded high strung. Like an E string turned up to the note right before “boing!”

It’s true, Perry ran Gore’s Texas campaign.

Anyway, anyone supporting Perry now is an idiot.

Due to the worst debate performance in history. But he still had money then, so he’s spending it now.

Newt Gingrich has been the second choice for a lot of members and now he’s moving into top spot. He looks to be the one to stop Romney and that’s good enough, but he’s also the one who “gets it”.

He’s been going after the Marxist and the media all along, and not after his rivals.

I loved tonight’s format and think that each candidate did themselves and their supporters proud for the better part, but Gingrich was the standout again, IMO.

Perry is back on my radar screen, he was outstanding tonight. Not sure about the part time congress but on the 10th he did not budge.

Actually, Ron Paul was a flight surgeon in the USAF from 1963-65 and served in the National Guard afterward. Yes, he served our country, and I appreciate that. However, he is too far out now.

Easily Newt Gingrich over Romney.

You’re fortunate that your state votes early!

You will have a say!

You must be out of your mind. You are showing your complete ignorance by those statements. Gov Perry DID NOT head Gore’s campaign in 1988. What are you stupid or deliberately dense?

I’m not looking for a ‘slicker than snot on a doorknob’ debater. I’m looking for a President that governs according to the CONSTITUTION.

What are YOU looking for?

Gingrich’s closing statement nailed this election for all to hear and see......You have to know the Marxist and/or his peeps were watching....LOL.

I've been so exhausted tonight I only wanted silence once home from work...so have been only following the thread, not listening to the debate itself.

No doubt about Newt for me...he's got my vote. I sure put enough work into determining this and as much eliminating others as I went along.

I have missed seeing Palin in the news though....but I think we'll be hearing her at length once things get closer to election....am excited about that. HAs there been any mention if she'll be on Fox that night?

NOt only that onyx, which I agree.

When I hear Mitt he sort of comes off as if he is talking to a segment of the Republican Party(conservatives) he is not thrilled about but has to appease.

When I hear Newt address his audience I get the picture that he's one of us. Not perfect but still one of us. Huge difference for me.

And when Perry decided to go into politics, he never lost an election.

And Ali never lost a fight until he did.

I am proud of each and every one of our candidates (except Romney & the nut-bar) and I believe they each gave it their all......But, Newt won hands down.

Newt can win against Romney and clear that trash out of our White House.

AND, I am convinced that Newt can and will turn our country around, competently and quickly.

Yes! Wonderful indeed and I am more pleased than ever with our candidates! ALL of them, save for the two I won’t vote for: Dangerous Paul and Duplicitous Romney.

Yes, she did say that at the end I caught that also, she also said she liked a strict constructionist attitude.

LOL...she's a chronic and blatant line-stealer.

So true; and it is incredibly frustrating to hear the others - Mitt included - speak of Obama as if he were no worse than bad tasting baby food. Mitt has yet to use the word 'socialist/Marxist' or mention Alynsky per Obama's inspirations. His toughest is that Obama wants a 'government like Europe'; he sounds like a clone of Karl Rove; and probably is, in fact. (Communist China, seems to be more the model, of course.)

Meantime; both Karl AND Mitt, continue to say that Obama, 'does not know what he is doing' and it is hard not to scream, in frustration.

Yes, the elephant is in the room; and only one man, thus far; sees the 'whole thing'; for what it is. The rest; remain, by their own hand; blindfolded. This shortsightedness; or just stubborn refusal to acknowledge; or need to 'sugarcoat'- is a worthless leadership.

Blindfolds off!

Here's an online PDF copy of Bastiat's "The Law", the book that Ron Paul recommended in tonight's debate that every American read.
