Some are describing Ginger White, the Georgia woman who claims she had a 13 year consensual intimate relationship with Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain, to have similar problems problems that Cain sexual harassment accuser Sharon Bialek had, including sexual harassment lawsuits and bankruptcy issues. According to Fox 5 Atlanta:
(bolding is mine) Before our interview, we checked into Ginger White's background. We found she filed a sexual harassment claim against an employer in 2001.

Is it just my imagination or is the press treating this allegation a lot fairer than the first...Actually probing into her past and writting about it?

Shouldn’t Cain begin turning loose this super-lawyer of his?
If not now, when?

There's a suspicious number of people popping up of late who have had little to no activity here despite long ago member-since dates. There ahve been a large number of sleepers here at FR since the Clinton years.

Agreed. Maybe the accounts have been hijacked, or sold on Craiglist. Seriously.

Shouldnt Cain begin turning loose this super-lawyer of his?
He did. That is my problem with this the more I think about it. This ladies history is very poor for making an accusation like this and would be easy to discredit, yet Lin Wood made a statement about this accuser and didn't deny any of this. As a matter of fact, he went into some BS about them being two consenting adults. And that was after Cains pre denial of any wrongdoing.
The whole thing is not adding up.

I hope the powers that be on FR have a tight grip on the reins -- there is no question that FR is an infiltration target.
It would be interesting to filter the FR database to select posters 1. who have signed up at critical junctures in national politics, 2. who have had little or no activity except at those times, 3. who have not created a personal page, 4. who have never donated to FR, 5. who are uniformly negative toward things conservative, and after that to 6. create tables of unique phrases each uses, 7. search for those phrases on other sites such as DU and also within FR, and 8. then also see where else their user names or emails used in registration pop up.
Number 5 and 6 would be more labor intensive, but after the winnowing of the others, it wouldn't be that big. It would probably be a good troll net.

“lack of pure, unadulterated outrage on his part. A firm denial does not do justice if the accusations are false,”
This is likely his big shot lawyer trying to head of any future litigation knowing there is some thread of truth to Cain's YEARS of “support” given the woman being a bit more than simple Christian altruism.
The word “bagasse” comes to fit appropriately.

Have you noticed that Bill Clinton sort of endorsed Newt Gingrich and then this thing comes out? Clinton who once was a bitter enemy of Newt...
This bimbo attack so very much sounds like the kind of things the Clintons did. Arkensides, blackmail threats to people, dirty dealings with no moral difficulties. I am sure Bill Clinton could deliver trash like those women for Newt if they had a deal.
And Why oh Why would Bill Clinton be coming out for Newt of all people, without a deal?

I find it hard to believe than any REPUBLICAN.....

"I find it hard to believe that anyone with as much baggage as Cain is being accused of would even think of running for President." If you believe the media hype, he was battling stage 4 cancer and having multiple affairs with bizarre women, one of whom (at least) was engaged in a lesbian affair at the time.
It seems he has the stamina for the job.

I have not seen more names pop up of people who hardly ever post on FR, who although have been registered for awhile, are taking these verbal pot shots at Herman Cain right and left. You know, post and run kind of stuff, launch an attack and go hide. I think we've been aware that the deep left has had sleepers planted here and at other conservative forums for many moons. I see the folks you're describing, and have called a few of them out.
I nearly always get a nasty, snarling response ("Look at my sign up date, you moron!") to my inquiries. I don't always take the time to do so, but sometimes, I'll go through their posting histories to get a sense of whether they're real Freepers or not.

hey...Cain just publically admitted that he did in fact give this latest woman scads of cash on multiple occasions without his wife knowing anything about it...not so much media hype...more a real douche bag!
To: Inspectorette
he just went on record and admitted that he gave her cash on several occasions and kept the whole thing secret from his wife....now why would he be doing that again?
It seems like that wasn’t such a big “if” at all.

And it is p*ssing me off that I have been on FreeRepublic for over Eleven Years, very active and a friend on many a thread about many a topic, and man recently I have not seen more names pop up of people who hardly ever post on FR, who although have been registered for awhile, are taking these verbal pot shots at Herman Cain right and leftI've noticed the same thing. I've never checked so many sign on dates before. I just don't recognize these names.

Oh, thank you SO MUCH for your objectivity on this Cain issue, and for calling him a "douche". You are really walking a fine line for a "Abuse Button" hit, kumosuke.

wow -conspiracies everywhere...I think that what happened was that the GOP pandered to the Ultra Right wing and the Religious Conservatives in a knee jerk reaction and came up with this bunch of muppets...forgetting that they need a real person to be their presidential candidate...one who isn’t listening to God and who knows what the hell is going on in er....er...Libya!!!
For the sake of the GOP...could we please have the real candidate NOW!!!!!
