What Your Thanksgiving Meal Says About You |
When it comes to the holidays, you follow and love the big traditions. You look forward to them every year.
You see the holidays as a time to think about what's important to you. It's a good time to reflect and regroup.
You like the more adult aspects of the holidays - parties, cocktails, and having time off from work.
During the holidays, you are likely to feel comforted. At your worst, you feel a bit over-indulgent.
You consider yourself to be a bit of a purist, and you're proud of it.
You tend to spend your holidays relaxing. Holidays are your down time. |

This is what I got... Is this how these normally come out?
When it comes to the holidays, you are tragically twisted. You do things a bit differently, to say the least, and you've established your own warped traditions.
You see the holidays as a time to thin out the pets/animals at home. It's good to give them time to reflect and regroup.
You like the aspects of the holiday that remind you of your childhood all that time spent locked in the closet, moms drunken rages, dads drunken rages, those hilarious knife fights, your little sisters drunken rages...
During the holidays, you are likely to feel somewhat suicidal. At your worst, you feel homicidal.
You consider yourself a loner, and you're proud of it. The neighbors say you seem like a nice person.
You tend to spend your holidays completely alone; really getting into the holiday spirits.

What Your Thanksgiving Meal Says About You |
When it comes to the holidays, you are traditional with a twist. You do things a bit differently, and you've established your own traditions.
You see the holidays as a time to be close to loved ones. It's a good time to reconnect and make memories.
You like the more adult aspects of the holidays - parties, cocktails, and having time off from work.
During the holidays, you are likely to feel energetic. At your worst, you feel bored.
You consider yourself an un-picky eater, and you're proud of it.
You tend to spend your holidays doing everything and anything. You really get into the holiday spirit. |
Yep. That sounds like me.

When it comes to the holidays, you follow and love the big traditions. You look forward to them every year....if someone else cooks!!
You see the holidays as a time to be close to loved ones. It's a good time to reconnect and make memories. However, my loved ones are so far away......
You like the aspects of the holiday that remind you of your childhood - old favorite foods.
During the holidays, you are unlikely to feel energetic. At your worst, you feel bored. Wrong...I rest because I have to face Black Friday from BEHIND the counter. LOL!
You consider yourself to be a bit of a purist, and you're proud of it.
You tend to spend your holidays relaxing. Holidays are your down time. (In other words...no cooking for me! :) |

Unlike most clueless leftists, my early thoughts of Thanksgiving are eating my mother’s wonderful, delicious turkey, stuffing and yams.
And my Uncle Leo who entranced me with his stories of World War II, hopping the Marianas Islands in the Pacific.
A leftist will never understand that, at his peril.
Hello, Kathy in Alaska. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.

Doin' okay. SSG Dusty is still stationed at Ft. Riley, nursing a head wound, but he and his family are coming to Nebr. for Thanksgiving.
I also have tickets for him and I to attend the Iowa vs. Nebraska football game Friday.
Should be fun!
Hope you and all your family have a great holiday!
