Hosted by the Heritage Foundation and the American Enterprise Institute, the theme of tonight's Republican presidential debate is foreign policy and national security.
The debate is being held at Constitution Hall in Washington, D.C.
CNN is carrying the debate live at 8 p.m. EST.
Participating candidates are: businessman Herman Cain, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, Texas Gov. Rick Perry, former Speaker Newt Gingrich, Reps. Ron Paul (TX) and Michele Bachmann (MN), former Gov. Jon Huntsman, and former Sen. Rick Santorum.
Very true. He does say something every now and then, but writing that down for all of FR to see is a bold, bold step. I know I don’t have the nerve to do it. LOL!
You are right, and Mynmar is a stop along the NK line.
PTL!
my wife says thee same.
Love Texas, but don't lie about Alabama.
They’re obviously desperate to defend AmNEWTsty. If he’s elected it’ll be the Bush amnesty 2.0
During the CNN debate, Herman Cain was asked whether he agreed with Rick Perrys call for a no-fly zone over Syria.
No, I would not, said Cain. I would work with our allies in the region to put pressure, to be able to try and get our allies and other nations to stop buying oil from Syria.
And state’s like Arizona and Alabama that try to fill the void on Obama’s lack of immigration enforcement get sued by his Justice department.
You know right now my mother-n-law is giving you dirty looks.
0bama spoke with someone in hopes to get a third party run. A la Clinton-Perot.
Who was that man?
That is not what I have read.
When I was a kid I worked on Ron Paul’s early campaign. He was saying the same stuff way back then. I used to drive him from event to event. He loves this country. He will never be president and that is OK with me.
Duh!
He wouldnt be fishing for an endorsement from her talking about oil...because its not a new thing for Newt.
What I was asking is....is Newt using talking about oil to get her interested in possibly endorsing him...down the road.
Palin's endorsement would probably help Newt more than any of the others , 'cept Mitt...and that isn't going to happen.
>> “You Cain folks are RIDICULOUS in trying to use this when your guy is to Gingrichs LEFT on immigration.” <<
.
You’re simply insane.
Nobody in the Republican party is to Noot’s left on anything. Noot is socialist to the core.
Of course Newt was talking about amnesty. Even Wolf paraphrased and described Newt’s answer as supporting amnesty.
Sounds like amnesty to me!
Cut OFF welfare and see the dregs scatter like cockroaches. I’m TIRED of paying for their stay here. Let them EARN it.
Now.......
Another do I really need a /sarc tag moment.
From Herman Cain:
“He has also advocated for a variety of other programs aimed at helping those immigrants already in the county. These include expanding the temporary worker program for skilled immigrants, establishing a program for immigrant identification and the creation of a program, other than amnesty, to help the illegal immigrants currently in the country become legal.”
Newt is to Cain’s right on immigration because Newt actually advocates for the physical deportation of most illegal immigrants. Cain won’t deport.
They should have followed TN’s lead years ago on buying beer. They all left TN and went to ALA and NC.
What the hell
Alabama is doing just fine thank you
(The crops rotting in the fields thing was bullsqueeze in case you haven’t heard)
