ROCHESTER, Mich. (AP) Republican presidential hopeful Rick Perry says he would eliminate three federal agencies. Just dont ask him to name them.
The Texas governor on Wednesday night struggled during a debate with his rivals and said he would nix the Commerce and Education departments. He drew a blank when the moderator asked what the third agency would be.
Perry previously has called on the elimination of the Energy Department.
Perry is only saying oops for drawing a blank on a favorite subject of criticism on the campaign trail.
He has struggled at previous debates and although hes committed to four more, his advisers are considering skipping future ones.

Imagine if you were a big donor to the Perry campaign how you would feel watching him in this clip?

Aphasia.
Can happen to everyone. Suggests some neurological damage ~ could be by drugs, injury, alcohol, poison, and, of course advancing old age.
It's probably not alcohol or drugs. Could be injury ~ or poison.
POISON?
Did you see what the Democrats were doing to Cain? What if they took a page out of the Ukrainian opposition book and simply poisoned Perri Caliente?

Yep. He was ‘done’ with me with the whole ‘heartless’ comment.
We worked our asses off to get my husband into this country LEGALLY and with a GREEN CARD... He pays taxes and contributes to our society. I can’t tell you how much that angered me.

I felt bad for him. And worse, Rick Perry is now being treated as a object of pity by the talking heads on CNBC.
From a purely selfish standpoint, this does hurt Texas. The lamestream media will enjoy mocking not just our governor but all Texans. (I really hope I'm wrong about that).

I was doing a presentation at work before a group of about 50 people and I had one of those moments where I made a mistake worse than what Perry made. These kind of gaffs are not a big deal. I despise Obama but anyone who thinks that Obama doesn't know there are 50 states and not 57 is an idiot. And does Herman Cain really believe that China doesn't already have nuclear weapons. Enough with this nonsense. It's pathetic.
It really doesn't matter so much who won or lost this so called debate. Besides, calling these modified press conferences debates is violence to the English language. What really is important is that we nominate that candidate who can have the best shot of defeating Obama. Newt cannot win. The Press will have a field day out of his personal life. He is unquestionably the best in front of a microphone because he's had so much practice. How good was he as Speaker? How much did he accomplish? And Herman Cain? Well we all know how poorly he has reacted to these allegations (even if they are a pack of lies). And one more thing about debates, you can bet your last dollar that when the press covers the "debates" in the general election, they will say that Obama handily wins the debate, no matter whether it's true or not. That much I'd bet my life on.
We need to have a few primary elections before we decide anything. Polls are rubbish at this point and the "debates" aren't much better.

Slick talking politicians have done more harm, because people fall for dishonesty.
His answer to the job question was good, regarding Caterpillar . The Media Will go crazy with this clip. It is already top of Drudge. Not as bad as 57 states.

We need to forget about that little debate thing and focus on what's important: Perry shooting something.
