ROCHESTER, Mich. (AP) — Republican presidential hopeful Rick Perry says he would eliminate three federal agencies. Just don’t ask him to name them.
The Texas governor on Wednesday night struggled during a debate with his rivals and said he would nix the Commerce and Education departments. He drew a blank when the moderator asked what the third agency would be.
Perry previously has called on the elimination of the Energy Department.
Perry is only saying “oops” for drawing a blank on a favorite subject of criticism on the campaign trail.
He has struggled at previous debates and although he’s committed to four more, his advisers are considering skipping future ones.

Bad moment for him. Good for Herman as the media will be showing Perry’s brain freeze incessantly for the next few days, giving Herman a break.
I felt sorry for him. He really sucks at debating, but was trying so hard to do it well. And then he couldn’t remember the name of the third department he would cut. It was like watching a kid at a school play forget the lines . . .
Great, a candidate that can’t remember his own ideas.
The Chicago Sun times knows very well it is the EPA.
The title is a little misleading, almost makes it sound like he couldn’t name ANY of them.

Agreed. I came out against Perry and caught huge Shi@t. Not proud at this moment.
He was rolling along just fine. I thought he was having his best debate performance ever. Then...BAM!
It was painful to watch. I felt bad for him.
That was quick. I am sure if he hadn’t of messed up, he would never be mentioned.

Perry forgetting the third agency is merely an attack by the Democrat establishment to make him look bad!
Democrats have secret mind altering technology that they beamed into his head to make it harder for him to remember. It was invented by the CIA.
They do that to all of the candidates that they don’t like to force us to vote for guys like Romney.

I've spoken publicly many times and it's happened to me more times than I can remember (no pun intended). It was pretty bad timing for Perry, though especially when you consider he had been doing much better than the other debates.
I’m not a Perry supporter, but felt sorry for his blank moment. He answered that question several times this past week, but “the dept. of energy” slipped his mind. I agree he is done, but don’t agree with all the dogging on him.
That’s right, elect your POTUS based on Peephole magazine trivia. Shame on all.
