Don't chastise the defenders for defending the right, chastise the aggressors for attacking it. I don't give fire, I return it.

Yep, hence my Gingrich 90% rule. Man that 10% can really suck.

No, I don’t think “the professor” did appologize for that RINO move.

DeMint is my man...wish he would have jumped in the race. He is a true treasure for the conservative cause and he has courage to fight

Lol. Close enough.

Good observation. If they can both play off each other's strengths - Cain's 'personable-ness' and Newt's policy analysis capability, they can both come out even stronger than they are now.
I like the thought of Cain's staying front runner and Newt's overtaking Romney. That second thought gives me grins. :)

I don’t recall Newt ever back-peddling on Scozzafava either. That incident sticks w me like a burr under the saddle. Cain would never ask Newt about it, but man, I wish he would.

The old TPS-43, it radiated my ass more than once. It probably shows in my crazy moments.

I'm sorry, Johnnie, but I've seen you start the firing a number of times in the last few days.
That makes the aggression yours.
But this thread is about the debate, so let's watch it and make observations, eh?

Tip: Come up with some new material. Your talking point spam on thread after thread after thread and yet another thread, is quite silly.
Cheers......

I feel certain Mr. Cain will make an excellent showing. Well he's had a new team players getting him ready who understand the climate of politics...so yes I'd say he's prepared...and Newt as well...it will be an interesting debate among "adults".

Neither will the best Reagan conservative in the bunch... Rick Perry.
Rick Perry was invited to have his own one-on-one moderator-free debate with the candidate of his choice. So far he has turned them down. Guess he prefers the "gotcha" 60 second soundbite debates.

I eat paleo pretty religiously but made some gluten free teff chocolate chip cookies just for the debate. I am looking forward for the format and to hear these two brains. Not for a fight between the two but an open discussion between bright and informed minds, obviously Newt the most informed, but Cain IS a rocket scientist so he’s going to be fun to hear too.
I hope we feel like flies on the wall at their private restaurant booth.

Sarah Palin and Jim DeMint are my two favorites of all. Both are dedicated to the elections of TEA PARTY PATRIOTS to the US Senate, House and offices throughout our nation.

Several years ago there was a reenactment of the Lincoln/Douglas debates i think it was on PBS
It was really interesting...
They used the notes taken by reporters etc at the time for most of the script...
It ran over several nights...
They were outside in I think the same town or towns that Lincoln/Douglas had been...

Professional rhetorician + radiotalkshowhost = GABFest! No thanks! Yeah. Why take any of your precious time to find out what someone who may be the next president stands on the issues or what his agenda is.
(must be nice to already know it all. Saves SO much time.)
