The Occupy Wall Street crowd has correctly identified two distinct groups in this country: the wealthiest 1 percent and the other 99 percent, who suffer from the 1 percents vast wealth: The wealthiest 1 percent not only have more money than us, they have much, much more money. Thats just wrong.

A lot of the organizers are paid, there were ads on Craiglist and everything.
Indeed. It seems to have sailed ten feet over the heads of some of our FRiends here.
Satire, I assume.
I assume the same, but these days it’s hard to tell. There REALLY are people who think this way. They have been educated by William Ayers and his cronies. Scarey.
How can it be satire? It sounds exactly like what we’ve been hearing from the OWS people, the President, Pelosi and the Left. Just assumed the Post wanted to show the other side.
If it is satire, sure fooled me.
This is satire but usually there is a tip off somewhere in the piece. The author neglects this important feature making it difficult for us to recognize he is not just some idiot hippie.
They are hard-wired to be unhappy.
Thanks! I’m still trying to figure out how this makes sense to them!
With the possible exception of some of those who inherited it
Yep, a lot of them are dimwits.
Isn’t it interesting how they think life is a “raffle” and not a result of hard work and proper decisions? This is a direct result of taking God out of public schools.
Frank Fleming is a pretty well-known conservative humorist. He's had a hysterically-funny blog for years and he often writes for Pajamas Media. In other words, this was irony. It never seems to work well on FR, though, does it.

No wonder that the media was able to get by with their massive abuse of Cain’s electrified fence comment...... wasn’t he obviously using an absurd analogy to expose the absurdity of the government’s timidity in enforcing the laws against illegal entrance into this country?
It seems that recognizing satire is a fleeting skill.
Oh, no, sorry. The use of satire might offend somebody.
Wow. Amazing that so many who replied missed the Swiftian tone of the article. The left’s ideas are getting to be so loony that satire is becoming indistinguishable from reality.
I thought he was being sarcastic
Libs’ thought processes being what they are, as messed up as a pile of hangers, it’s sometimes difficult to tell when someone is parodying or parroting liberal talking points.
This a satirical article folks. It makes fun of the illogic of the OWS and the Left in general.
Hey Freepers - this piece is SATIRE.....I think if one wishes to contribute to the debate, he or she should learn to READ WITH COMPREHENSION. Otherwise, it makes all of us here look like a bunch of illiterate yahoos....just sayin’
