Okay here me out on this.
In the video clip I saw, he followed that up by saying it would definitely be “No.”He seemed to be making sure there would be none of the stuff Ryan and Christie went through.
Palin is gone and will not be in politics even if Cain asked which I doubt.
I would love it if Cain selects congressman West from Florida. That would make the liberals insane and ensure the Florida vote.
“Id rather see Cain team up with Gingrich. “
Rubio is NOT interested
When asked at the Washington Ideas Forum at the Newseum in Washington, D.C., Rubio repeated twice for emphasis, I am not going to be the vice presidential nominee. I am not going to be the vice presidential nominee.
Asked during the forum if he would turn down an offer if the Republican presidential nominee asks him to, Rubio responded, Yeah, I believe so, adding again, the answer is going to be no.

I like that idea!
My chief credential beyond the Constitutional requirements for POTUS and VP is whether they are willing to attack the political-media cabal that has allowed government, the courts, military, and law enforcement to totally ignore the rule of law.
The executive branch implements everything from the other two branches. It is where the rubber hits the road. From it comes the Cabinet, the regulatory agencies, law enforcement, foreign policy.... everything. And right now all of those things are more corrupt than the Chicago mafia.
If we can’t purge the current systems and get real accountability for the entire bureaucracy, it won’t make any difference what any of the other branches do - because the people actually implementing it all will do whatever they darn well please (whatever serves their own self-interest) with impunity.
I don’t think that somebody who poses as legislatively “moderate” will have what it takes to do the cleaning up that is necessary. Those who vie for the good vomit chunks are not likely to do the really hard, unpopular work of making a system where there’s no vomit to fight over.
My VP picks for Cain.
Cain / Gingrich (if he can escape his baggage)
Cain / West (Allen West would be awesome for Millitary and command Experience)
Cain / Jindall (Another awesome matchup, a know effective Govenor as VP would flesh out the Executive Experience of the ticket)
Cain / Bolton (Another good match for Foreign Policy EXP to ticket.)
She might be concerned about Trig. He requires special care and maybe she decided being president wouldn’t allow her that opportunity. She’s right about what she said. I hoped she’d run too but she’s still a rock star and can influence the country, the debate, and promoting conservative candidates up and down the ticket. As an example of her influence when the presidential candidates found out they were called immediately to schedule an appointment with her. And look how she’s influenced things so far. Her speech on crony capitalism even influenced some on the left. That’s power. I bet everyone in the press still hangs on her words breathlessly waits for her endorsement. Give her a chance to see what she does. I bet she still remains deeply patriotic and influential.
Cindie
Can’t buy this one. Romney/Cain a more likely scenario. (Would rather have Cain and Rubio, personally; but like so many possibilites; the ‘probabilities’ are zip and zero.)
For me there’s huge ick factor with Newt. Catting around and sitting on the couch with Nancy Pelosi to save the planet from a hoax? Yeah, no thanks.
“Hear, Hear!!”
I don’t see it. Palin is going to go through another presidential campaign to play second fiddle. Nope, aint gonna happen.
And I still don’t get the whole Cain thing. He seems like a nice guy and good business man, but if I can’t have Palin I think that Gingrich is the guy.
And I know the whole “he’s got baggage” mantra but nothing like the current president. Let’s face it Gingrich is 5 levels deep compared to the others somewhat polished surface.
Gingrich is more than capable of playing chess while the others play checkers
But being veep gets her into prime presidential position without needing as much of the gauntlet. If it got her past the vulture media, it’s not bad, and she would have8 years of an easier job while her two youngest are small.
I’m sick of establishment. I want nothing to do with those jerks. Anything that’s got “establishment” written on it is a “hold your nose” vote at best.
Hooray!
“Rubio is NOT interested”...
Like so many others before him, perhaps he can be persuaded to reconsider.
:-)
Besides, I’m pretty sure Gingrich would say yes if asked.
I think Cain is pretty exciting in his own right, and a lot of people, particularly older, middle-class white Midwesterners and Southerners, would probably like someone bland in the VP spot.
OK.
I didn’t want to say this, but I guess I have to.
ANY CONSERVATIVE WHO SAYS WE NEED TO GET ONE PARTICULAR PERSON ON THIS TICKET TO SAVE THE COUNTRY IS JUST ENGAGING IN THE SAME MESSIANIC FRUITCAKE BEHAVIOR THAT WE SAW IN THE OBAMABOTS IN ‘08.
If FR is going to move from “Sarah is our Messiah” to “Marco is our Messiah” or any form of “insert name here is our Messiah” we are just a large group of idiots.
I agree wholeheartedly with that statement, however Cain is not “moderate”. In order to implement these goals we first have to get him elected.
The VP position is, in the big scheme of things, rather irrelevant.
However, that position is quite important with the electorate. A swing state candidate with political experience and some moderate views will push Cain over the top.
