its because deep down..millions of middle class, specifically white Americans can see themselves, and the children they’ve raised in Amanda and they feel implicated...Sure most people aren’t murderers, but most young well to do Americans happen to be as classless, tasteless, perverse, stoned, and drunken as Amanda—hence our embarassing reputation abroad. And we wonder why our country is going down the drain.
Notice how the American media never gives full airtime to the murdered victim’s family nor to the Italian jurors, prosecutors, and investigators who initially convicted her. Nope...we just get hearsay that Italians are unenlightened idiots with no sense of the law.
And the fact that our zombie American public buys the lamestream media narrative of the so-called “independent” team who “re-examined” the evidence and found it all to be “too contaminated” ...Puh Leeze. I am upset with Ann Coulter over her refusal to encourage Palin to run, but she has done some excellent writing on the Knox case.
I say: show me the money. $$$ and who is really in control and manipulating the court system.

Lying about where she was that night? How she knew that the victim was sexually assaulted BEFORE the police or anyone else knew that fact? Just curious.

Seriously! You would think the judge would read up on the case for 10 minutes before giving his professional opinion on it. Of course, with BOR I’m not surprised, he was totally clueless. Fox is supposed to be the source for the real story and this type of stuff just undermines their reputation.
And I demand a 1000% tax on all American goods into Britain because of the 2003 murder of policeman Ian Broadhurst and the attempted murder of two other policemen by American David Beiber. And another 1000% tax on all American goods into Italy because of the Cavalese cable car incident.

Oh, and please DO boycott Italy. It is a beautiful country with friendly people, and less tourists will make it even more pleasurable for those of us who love to holiday there.

She was not killed in the bedroom. The body was moved there. Kercher was still alive when she was locked in her own bedroom. Left there to bleed to death. Covered with a blanket which indicates whoever staged the break-in did not want to look at her. The window was broke from the inside. Stuff thrown around the room was on top of the glass. What motivation would Guede have to stafe a break-in? What motivation would he have to clean the crime scene? Who helped him? There was no physical evidence of anyone else being there. Why was only Knox’s DNA found mixed with Meredith’s blood and not the other 2 roommates?
[I have been reading about the general mishandling of the crime scene and potential cross-contamination of the DNA evidence and am amazed at how shoddy of an investigation this really was! I thought she was guilty for quite a while. I now have serious doubts and think that the prosecutor is likely an Italian Mike Nifong—IMO]
I have no doubt that she was guilty. When all the evidence in it’s total and context is considered there is no doubt that she is guilty. Even in the absence of all DNA evidence, when all the other evidence is considered I am convinced beyond a reasonable doubt that she is guilty. I’m quite interested in reading the appeal panel’s report as to why they decided to overturn the verdict based on only 2 pieces of evidence.
My heart feels sick for Meredith Kercher’s family. This must be agonizing for them. Now they will get to suffer on as Amanda Knox celebrates.

decent post...glad you’ve posted it twice...I agree she acted like a guilty person to me as well and people see their own families and want her to be innocent...but she looks like trash to me very capable of killing the poor girl
if it gives you any sense of equality, where I live we have upper middle class black families that actually have a black mom and dad and we also have white do gooder type families..also 6 figure plus earning families who adopt black babies noone else wants and try to raise them right...that is a work in progress
but sadly I see them make the same mistakes of permissiveness and indulgence and lack of manners and sexual decorum their white peers make

Yep. And Ward Cleaver was the ideal vision of what a Dad should be. It was an unrealistic vision perhaps, but so what? That's what "ideal" means, after all. Today, the liberals mock that kind of decency, even as their political party works overtime to destroy the traditional family unit. I liked things better back then.

Why was Lumumba arrested and questioned in the first place? Because Amanda Knox lied and accused him of the murder. The court upheld Knox's defamation conviction. She still has to pay Patrick Lumumba compensation for falsely accusing him of the grisly murder. As a result of Knox's false accusation, he lost his business and is unemployed.
The evidence showed that there was more than one attacker. Originally, because Knox made the accusation, the theory was that Lumumba, Knox, and Solicetto were the attackers. That proved not to be true. The 3rd perpetrator turned out to be Rudy Guede.
Ok, you are certainly entitled to your own opinions, just not to your own set of facts.
You have yet dispute anything I have said or to offer up explanations to my questions. I’ve read the facts and evidence presented at the trial in context and not as presented by a pro-Knox website.
Anyway, no reason to argue now. She’s on her way back home to the USA where she will be an insta-celebrity. She will bask in the media attention, not giving poor Meredith or her family a 2nd thought, because that is the type of person Knox is. Meredith Kercher, the beautiful British student who was everything Knox wanted to be but never will be, is still dead. My heart feels sick for her family and friends.
You should take your own advise and study the facts, with an open-mind, somwhere other that a pro-Knox propaganda site.

After 36-50 hours of direct interrogation (I’ve heard varying accounts as to how long she was forced to stay awake as they interrogate her) can you blame her for saying or agreeing to absolutely anything to make it stop? She’s not a soldier who’s been trained to withstand harsh interrogation.
