New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is reconsidering his decision not to enter the 2012 presidential race and he says he will let top Republican donors know within days about his plans, Newsmax has learned. During the past few weeks, several leading Republican donors and fundraisers have been urging the popular Republican governor to reconsider his decision not to run and to enter the GOP primary. These Christie supporters note that significant GOP support has remained on the sidelines of the primary fight. Many leading fundraisers have yet to commit to any current primary contender, including frontrunners Rick Perry and Mitt Romney. Detective Cannon will be on the case.
Literally or figuratively?
HE DOES CARRY A LOT OF WEIGHT WITH THE GOP!!!
“There is no perfect conservative. Every candidate is flawed. Instead of attacking each other and giving Hussein Obama fodder for his own ads, they should be attacking the Muslim Marxist non-stop.”
And yet some FReepers have declared they’re staying home on election day or writing in their fave if their fave isn’t the nominee.
On 9/11 he had dinner with Roger Ailes. Guess they plan on going easy on him in their media if he decides to run. He’s said over and over he won’t run - I guess they found his price.
He’s been governor what? 2 years?
Surely, the GOP can field someone with real experience.
We already have an AA novice in the White House.
Excellent point BigTigerMike!
You think Romney is not a RINO? You think he’d be a great prez?
Where's the pic of Bamster, blocked by Christie's girth, with O's arm around the big guy? I think it was taken after Hurricane Irene.
And very presidential looking./s Last month he went to hospital with breathing problems.
Just as I suspected and posted yesterday. The big money is still on the sideline hence the Perry camp’s pushing endorsements in an attempt to pry it loose. Last night didn’t help in that regard.
Thank you for your common sense and refreshing honesty.
All kidding aside, being fat is a huge political liability. He isn’t just a little chubby, but borderline morbidly obese.
William Howard Taft was the last fat president, and he had the benefit of being the handpicked successor of a popular incumbent.
Better than Romney
At the end of the day — election day 2012 -— I honestly don’t think voters want to cast ballots for anyone from Massachusetts or New Jersey. OR Chicago.
Laurel and Hardy nightmares
he isn’t entering, mark my words.
People are fed up because decades of damage has been done, and the damage is so deep, that it would take drastic changes to make it right, not a slow moving of the wheel. If you turn too slow you’ll still hit the iceberg.
It’s not just the U.S. Many countries are under the socialist gun, and we either take a stand now while we still have some people left that understand freedom, or we go quietly into the night.
Nobody can afford to settle for second best, there is no second best, it’s do or die time.
