He’s been governor what? 2 years?
Surely, the GOP can field someone with real experience.
We already have an AA novice in the White House.

I don't think a Christie candidacy is a good idea, but "experience" has nothing to do with it. The guy has shown more leadership in less than two years on the job than five decades worth of New Jersey governers had shown (combined). On top of all that, he was a very effective Federal prosecutor who tossed more than 130 elected officials in jail for various crimes (and could have done many more if the FBI and the Federal court system could have processed the cases fast enough).
Having said that . . . I don't want him to run, for many of the reasons people have cited here on this thread. First and foremost is that he'd never win, because what makes an effective governor in New Jersey would be a non-starter in most other states.

The Wall Street Journal-Ann Coulter-Bill Kristol axis doesn’t care if Christie’s been in office for only five minutes, with no national name recognition, who-knows-what skeletons in his closet, with no Palin-or-Perry zest for campaigning with crowds, New Joisie accent, gigantic weight problem, and RINO on social issues.
The Eastern Seaboard elites don’t care about all those flaws. So long as as the name is not Palin or Perry.
