They’re saying that if you go, we can promise you this much in your campaign fund, etc. It was the thing with Bush - when the establishment decided he was their guy, he got a war chest big enough to stamp out McCain who, though white headed and bald even back then, had a little more fire in the belly than he showed last time around.
