After watching this debate is it any more evident that we need Sarah Palin in this race?

Posted on 09/22/2011 7:58:57 PM PDT by teg_76

Perry looked like a doofus, his immigration answers are demeaning.

Romney is a liberal used car sales man.

The others aren't gaining any traction.

Nobody has the Guts to admit that she might be holding back to announce so she wont be exposed for the weakness she has in filibustering answers when she is hit with a tough question, she goes into platitudes and it is very obvious

I hereby give Sarah Palin free rights to utilize my tag-line at her discretion! (:

Sounds like something she would say, no??

I agree with this summation. Being a governor is the best training for becoming POTUS. However, it leaves a substantial paper/policy trail. Sarah’s has already been picked apart. All that Perry (illegal immigration) or Romney (RomneyCare) needed to do was state that those decisions were the will of his constituents and not applicable on a national scale. Romney has started to, while Perry made the death knell assertion that those not willing to subsidize illegal activity are “without a heart.” He has fed the liberal MSM their talking points for the next month and insulted law abiding Americans in one stupid sentence. He is finished. Bachmann is way too unprepared and makes unforced errors. She has now wasted two weeks asserting that Perry is a Joseph Mengele wannabee who mandated vaccines to hundreds of thousands of young women for a $5,000 campaign donation instead of vocalizing why she would be a worthy candidate. I’m starting to take a liking to a Newt & Cain ticket, but it is not a winner. I have to add Romney into that mix to feel any hope of beating “The worst POTUS in American History.” If Sarah was thrown into that mix, I’d feel a little bit better. At least we’ll go down swinging as this country slides away with 4 more years of Socialist apocalypse. In the end, I’ll vote for a fig newton over Obama.

We need a TEA Party candidate NOW!! The era of “can’t-we-just-get-along” is OVER! It’s a battle and we need a general. Dear God in heaven help us!

Perry is done , I will vote for Romney before Perry. Perry says the greatest country ever can’t build a fence.

I don’t want Romney, but after tonight I want Romney before Perry.

Perry is toast.

It’s time for Palin to get in or Romney will be the next President.

you all have worked to destroy Perry

Perry seems to be doing a fine job of destroying himself without anyone else's help.

And this, folks, is why "vetting" matters.

Then she’ll lose and we’ll still have Romney after you all have worked to destroy Perry.

Got news for you, bub, Perry destroyed himself.

Not to say we told you so, BUT...

And none of the PDSers have the guts to admit that waiting to let the weak candidates expose themselves before joining the race is a smart idea. The day she enters the race, people are going to stop looking critically at everyone else because all eyes (and guns) will be on her.

The GOP in the midterms won the women's vote for the first time ever in 60 years thanks to Sarah Palin, being the biggest voice out there.

We will have the women's vote in 2012.

And with Paln Presidency, the women's vote for decades after. Little girls will grow up dreaming of being President, as a Republican.

if 0bama wins, you are just as responsible as the people who directly vote for him.

Is this where we're supposed to pretend that it makes a difference which party occupies the White House?

Over the last 60 years the federal government has grown exponentially. That is the source of all our problems.

Yet, over those 60 years, the GOP has occupied the White House about 60% of the time.

When the GOP has occupied the White House, nothing has been done to reduce the size of government. In fact, some of the most onerous legislation that has increased the size of government has come when the GOP occupied the White.

So, the meme that if one doesn't vote for the GOP candidate things are going to get worse is just phoney baloney.

We're actually probably better off if Obama stays in the White House and the GOP continues its majority in the House. Gridlock is probably our best real solution for slowing down what seems inevitable.

Oh please do you think Ronald Reagan will rise from the dead. It is what it is. Bachman and Cain and Newt were very good.

If she decides to run then for sure let’s support her but we have to get these ducks in a row NOW!!!!

I agree, the Sycophants for Sarah are experiencing what can only be described as "Puppy Love". Its like watching your best Jr High school friend get his first kiss from a girl and be totally infatuated with her and unable to see any faults.

Or, some people might say "Obama II", where it doesn't matter what Sarah believes or says, everything gets interpreted by the "Hope & Change" filter to mean "everything that I believe."

Because this is now raw narcissistic emotion, expect them to tear down everyone else and pump up their choice because the imagination and their personal fantasy trumps objective reality.

Most of the candidates now are solid enough, and all of them are better than Obama. Would we like better? Many would because of the "there might be something better around the corner" non-committal disorder. Sarah may be smart enough to remember those school days and the power and duration of Puppy Love, and she may be sitting out so that if/when she enters, the uncritical infatuation still is at work for early November.

I hope we don't have a condition where a couple may have only dated for a couple months, get married, and a year later are talking more to their divorce attorneys than their spouse - sort of what we are seeing with the Left and their "spouse" Obama.

I agree. This group is dull. Need energy.

I thought we were looking for a President and Leader of the Free World, not a ShamWow™ salesman or a new American Idol.

Does everything have to be entertainment now? What next? The next debate is a rip-off of Dancing with the Stars?
