Any doubt that Bachmann is Romney’s stalking horse should be gone after tonight.

FoxNews is doing their best to put Mitt Romney against Obama.

Bachmann is an ass. We get enough phony, weepy victim stories from the left.

Running off half-cocked with that "a lady told me" story about mental retardation from the vaccine disqualified her with me

You know what? I think her/him for that vote. Please let us not cut our nose to spite our face. We all know we want a conservative president and we will work hard and vote as such.

But if at the end of the day, we are faced with Romney or Obama, we would be fools to stay home or vote third party.

I like the fair tax. I liked Johnson’s answers.

Libertarians tend to be pro-choice, though, and Life is a God-given right and not an “issue.” Paul is also libertarian, and he said tonight he is pro-life. In answering about his support for a rape exception, his argument was simply that you can’t make a law to control abortion after a rape.

I’m not sure what he meant. I think you probably could write such a law.

I didn’t forget about illegal immigration. It’s just not the top issue in most peoples’ minds, that’s all.

You're suggest it's just one issue with little concern?

Lets see, tens of millions of illegals are choking off our health-care, hospitals, jails, social services, welfare, schools, costing hundreds of billions in taxes, creating epic fraud, undermining and compromising our electoral process, not to mention killing, robbing, stabbing, running over, raping, burglarizing etc, hundreds of thousands of innocent Americans.

Anyone home Ted?

From HB 1403 Texas Dream Act:

SECTION 2. Section 54.052, Education Code, is amended by adding Subsection (j) to read as follows:

(j) Notwithstanding any other provision of this subchapter, an individual shall be classified as a Texas resident until the individual establishes a residence outside this state if the individual resided with the individual's parent, guardian, or conservator while attending a public or private high school in this state and:

(1) graduated from a public or private high school or received the equivalent of a high school diploma in this state;

(2) resided in this state for at least three years as of the date the person graduated from high school or received the equivalent of a high school diploma;

(3) registers as an entering student in an institution of higher education not earlier than the 2001 fall semester; and

(4) provides to the institution an affidavit stating that the individual will file an application to become a permanent resident at the earliest opportunity the individual is eligible to do so.

Under these requirements, I see no reason why a 25 or 30 year old illegal alien with a GED in Texas could not receive in-state tution.

Please. Romney is a rhino, but a RINO still is far better than Bama.

That's what they told us about McCain and we still got Obama. We all held our noses and voted for the old vermin, but you know what? There are a lot of people out there who do not come to this board who simply couldn't do it and we got Obama anyway.

If Romney is the nominee, I refuse to compromise my integrity again and I guarantee you we will STILL get Obama.

Huntsman and RuPaul should get married at the closest Unitarian Church.

“Something’s just not right here, it’s as if there’s some secret agreement with everyone except Perry not to hit Romney too hard on anything. And there’s so much more they could go after. Romneycare is just the tip of the iceberg. There’s global warming, flip-flopping on major issues like abortion, just general phoniness.

I feel like we’re being played here, and we’re being pulled toward a Romney candidacy.”

I think you’ve hit on something. Clearly some of these guys are on Romney’s team. Santorum, for example. This guy has absolutely no chance. Why is he running? He probably sees himself as Secretary of Something in a Romney cabinet. He sure was carrying Romney’s water tonight. Huntsman? Well, he was in the Obama Administration, so I’m sure he’d fit right in with a Romney Administration. Gingrich? Well, I think Gingrich still thinks he can win. Who knows, maybe he can. Nobody on this board thought McCain could win the nomination, and to our shock and horror, he did.

“Nobody in the media is attacking Romney right now but trust me.... if he becomes the nominee his faith will be front and center for months on end.”

I’m sure they will. I hope Romney then brings up Rev. Wright. You would be surprised how many people out there are unaware of the things Obama’s mentor has said.

Romney sucks. No doubt about it Reagan man. The American Establishment promoting him so unabashedly is so apparant, so bold, so shameless, so in your face. Thing is, Perry is hardly an alternative. ENOUGH of those TWO!!! AWAY with them!!

I don’t have a “guy”. Newt would be ideal, but he can’t win. The next best option is Perry, who FoxNews and FreeRepublic are doing their best to destroy as a candidate.

Palin would be great, but I don’t think she’s running because she can’t win the general election.

illegal immigration. It’s just not the top issue in most peoples’ minds

Oh but it is a top issue Ted. If this isn't addressed and enforced you can kiss all the rest goodbye...The first responsibility of a Pres. is the security of this nation...if a nation isn't secure then the " hords" will and do come in who have no alligence to this country and no desire to become.."American". There desires are to change this nation to something else altogether....if the borders are not closed and made secure then this nation is done.

Instate tuition pays less than the full cost of the education being received. Somebody else makes up the difference. First there are the other Americans from out of state paying part of the difference. Then there are other foreign students ~ maybe from the same village ~ paying out of state tuition and that makes up for some of it.

In fact, if Texas schools are similar to other schools, the out of state tuition is probably closer to the full cost than the in state tuition is.

The difference in the two ($22,000 a year) would be more than enough to pay for a good university education in Mexico ~ including room and board.

Texas would be ahead to send them to school in Mexico.

Milt had illegals cutting his lawn at his mansion in Belmont, MA - he watched them!

Then he deflected heat on the issue by saying it was the landscaping company’s responsibility to make sure the workers were legal.

For God’s sake, you’re the f**king governor and don’t have the sense to know who’s working on your property?
