In fact, if Texas schools are similar to other schools, the out of state tuition is probably closer to the full cost than the in state tuition is.
The difference in the two ($22,000 a year) would be more than enough to pay for a good university education in Mexico ~ including room and board.
Texas would be ahead to send them to school in Mexico.
[Instate tuition pays less than the full cost of the education being received. Somebody else makes up the difference.]
My kids would pay instate tuition and at $22 thousand a year ‘that ain’t cheap’. Colleges are overpriced anyway. Perry wants to get a $10 thousand a year program. Don’t know if it can be done except in small local colleges.
Tenured Professors get their ‘grants’ and work on their own little projects while student ‘instructors’ teach the kids. It’s a sham.
That $22k per year that Mitt kept puking out is a lie.
Here’s the tuition table from the Univ. of TX for 2010-2011 and it shows for residents that tuition for 12 hours (kids need time to party and work part time, doncha know) is averaging around $4800-$5000. The tuition for the same number of hours by non-residents might be averaging $10,000-$15,000. ........That’s only about a $6000-$10,000 difference; NOT $$22,000. ....Another Romney lie about Perry.
