“Somethings just not right here, its as if theres some secret agreement with everyone except Perry not to hit Romney too hard on anything. And theres so much more they could go after. Romneycare is just the tip of the iceberg. Theres global warming, flip-flopping on major issues like abortion, just general phoniness.
I feel like were being played here, and were being pulled toward a Romney candidacy.”
I think you’ve hit on something. Clearly some of these guys are on Romney’s team. Santorum, for example. This guy has absolutely no chance. Why is he running? He probably sees himself as Secretary of Something in a Romney cabinet. He sure was carrying Romney’s water tonight. Huntsman? Well, he was in the Obama Administration, so I’m sure he’d fit right in with a Romney Administration. Gingrich? Well, I think Gingrich still thinks he can win. Who knows, maybe he can. Nobody on this board thought McCain could win the nomination, and to our shock and horror, he did.

Definitely Santorum seems to have no other purpose than to attack Perry. Bachmann too. And to me, she’s the biggest disappointment. I live in her district, have worked on past campaigns, and given money to her campaigns. No more. It is abundantly clear to me that she is a Romney stalking horse.
I defended her against this charge when it first surfaced around here a few months ago, but I have to admit I was wrong. She has gone off the deep end with this HPV thing, and continuing to harp on it tonight is just inexplicable. On the other hand, she talks about ending Obamacare (one of her big issues right?), but when it comes up, she never utters a peep about Romneycare. This speaks volumes about her motivation.
