Michele Bachmann

Bachmann is serving her 3rd full term in the U.S. House. Founder of the House Tea Party Caucus, worked as a tax attorney, and was a foster mother for 23 teenagers. She is a member of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence.

Herman Cain

Cain is the former chief executive of Godfather's Pizza and former chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. He lost the Georgia Republican primary for a U.S. Senate seat in 2004. He was recently the host of Atlanta-based radio show.

Newt Gingrich

Gingrich served as Speaker of the United States House of Representatives from 1995 to 1999. He represented Georgia's 6th congressional district as a Republican member from 1979 to 1999. He has a PhD in modern European history.

Jon Huntsman

Huntsman was Utah Governor, former ambassador to China under Barack Obama.

Ron Paul

Paul is serving his 11th full term in the U.S. House. He’s an ob-gyn and was Libertarian nominee for president in 1988. He unsuccessfully sought the Republican nomination for president in 2008

Rick Perry

Perry is the three term governor of Texas, from 2000 to current. He is a retired Air Force captain for former farmer. He has a degree in animal science.

Mitt Romney

Romney was governor of Massachusetts (2003 to 2007) and former CEO of Bain Capital, a private equity investment firm. He unsuccessfully sought the Republican 2008 nomination for president. He has an MBA (Harvard) and JD (Harvard Law).

Rick Santorum

Santorum served two terms in the U.S. House and two terms in the U.S. Senate. He became the Senate's third-ranking Republican in 2001. He was defeated for reelection in 2006.

Gary Johnson

Johnson served as governor of New Mexico from 1995 to 2002. He founded what would become one of the largest construction companies in New Mexico. He has competed in several triathlons and climbed Mount Everest.

Bachmann’s continuous implications that Perry mandated the vaccine because of getting money from Merck is tiresome and insulting. If Newt and Santorum didn't occasionally remind the rest that Obama is the primary evil, we'd rarely have any condemnation of the socialist policies destroying this nation.

In state means you don't have to pay the 22k a year. Instead they may owe a whopping 3k a year. Maybe only an 80k gift to illegals.
People outside the state coming to school there would not get in state tuition and would pay the whole 22k even if citizens.

I think Perry is toast now.

I'm serious - do a search - you might be surprised at what you find. This guy (PerryWinkle) is an "Open Borders" guy - and talks through the side of his mouth.

I will vote for him, if he is the candidate, to get rid of "O", but, will then go get sick and have to take a shower (or two), to do it!

Yes, Perry answered. He said he will always err on the side of life. He was lobbied by someone with cervical cancer to see that the vaccines were made available.

Hey guys, if the name of the game is to appeal to the average American in his or her living room watching this live, millions of them fed up with Obongo, HERMAN CAIN WON THIS FOX-GOOGLE DEBATE HANDS DOWN. HE REALLY CONNECTED ON SO MANY LEVELS. Facts, good voice, confidence, humor, humanity (cancer experience) attack on Obama, GOOD. ALL OF IT GOOD. And not slick like some of these professional politicians to the left and right of him on the stage with the $3000 neckties. (Even Romney has to quote Herman Cain and give him respect, just now, on the stage).

I think my point is that some of these candidates should just get the hell out of way so we can get down to some real potential winners.

While is is good, for example, who on earth wants to hear Newt bloviate? None of us.

But we are dealing with egos and jockeying for VP status.

12 states allow illegal immigrants to pay in-state tuition. If the federal government isn’t going to take care of it, states have to deal with the issue in the best way they can.
