On all the cables whenever His Majesty deigns to bless us with his presence.
The topic is his latest plan to bash Republicans over the economy while actually doing nothing to help the economy.
Hell, I think he is sharing it now with his speech writers judging by this fiasco of a speech.
Very short summary of Obama’s speech:
Tax the “rich” (like ALL of Dem Congress would harm themselves)
Blame Boehner
Blame Bush
Pay your fair share now!
Fox Business channel has the best coverage and commentary of every day time obumble speech.
FWIW, I don’t care what their cost of living is. I’m not entitled to what they’ve got. Period. I stopped buying into that class warfare cr@p many moons ago, and not because I became wealthy :-)
I start getting angry and yelling at that thing on my TV.
I have to turn it off to calm down. LOL
I am waiting for “The Won” to announce he is nationalizing everything...
I have one of those nerfy-type bad call bricks for heaving at the TV. For some reason I never use it during sporting events, tho :-)
Oh, don’t get me wrong - I agree. I’ve been arguing the “not yours to take” line elsewhere. I just like to take the opposition’s premise and run it to its objective conclusion, in this case observing that for all the wealth “the rich” enjoy, there really isn’t that much income to tax after giving them a reason to defer all income outside basic cost-of-living.
Obama: There is a DIFFERENCE between TAX RATE and TAX AMOUNT!!!
Actually, I thank GOD for his laziness. Can you imagine the additional damage this guy would've already done if he was a workaholic?
Since that asswipe took office, my company stock has dropped from $19.50 to $12.50 per share. Much of what I own was issued at $17. The company is a major DoD contractor, so the damage he does to military programs hammers the stock value directly.
Needs to be repeated at the next Republican Presidential debate AD NAUSEUM!!!
Absolutely agree!
BUT, THERE HAS TO BE A BUDGET TO COMPARE WITH IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!
There has been no budget for nearly 3 years....
U.S. President Barack Obama talks about cutting the U.S. deficit, in the Rose Garden of the White House in Washington September 19, 2011. Obama will lay out a plan on Monday to cut the U.S. deficit, striking a populist tone aimed at galvanizing his Democratic Party base ahead of the November 2012 election.

FROM THE TOP: President Obama enters the Rose Garden at 10:56 a.m. Administration officials in the audience include Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner, OMB Director Jack Lew, National Economic Council Director Gene Sperling and senior adviser Valerie Jarrett.

I always thought he was a workaholelick ?
The Republican House passed a 2012 budget in April 2012. The Democrat Senate has not passed a budget and the goverment’s 2012 year begins October 1. Why aren’t Boehner, McConnell, and the Republican presidential candidates screaming about the irresponsible Dem Senate instead of letting Obama set the agenda with his class warfare speeches?
Note to the useful idiots: It's really not rocket science, you boneheads.
running on CPT
Epiphany from your post:
We often wonder why those rich Leftists in high power are so excited about “tax the rich”. They know that if it does pass, it won’t affect them because (like most “rich”) their wealth acquisition is not counted as income (deferred and cashed in only to fund cost-of-living).
Of course wealth won’t be taxed, for the same reason it isn’t taxed: the peons have income; the elite have investments. Ergo income gets taxed.
I am sorry to hear that :-(
I am afraid much of the defense industry is in for hard times as long as the democrats think they can use cuts in the Pentagon budget to reduce future deficits
"Tracing these factors to their logical conclusions, we can see that Obama is simply an invention; there is less to him than meets the eye. Worse than being merely doctrinaire, he is hollow at the center. And that is most assuredly not what we need today, or for another presidential term."
