The day a motorcycle “forces” me off the road is the day I turn in my physics-knowledge card.

now that is funny....a fight between a car and a motorcyclist, I'd bet money on the car winning.
Same as never swerving to avoid hitting some critter in the road...in that case the car might be the loser and the critter the winner...(Michigan as thousands of dead deer along the highways.) cars won in those case's...

Now I don’t care who you are, that there is funny! And I’m an avid motorcyclist and AMA member with a Yamaha YZF-R1, Honda XR650L, and KTM 300XCW in my stable - got all my bases covered.

Thinking the same thing. I say hold in your lane, go the speed limit, and let the idiots do what they do. Slow if necessary to keep a safe distance with the biker in front of you. Do not swerve to avoid a crash - hold your line.

The day a motorcycle forces me off the road is the day I turn in my physics-knowledge card. Here's an example of a motorcycle that forced a car off the road...
Remember F=mv^2.
The bike was estimated to be moving at 155mph. Needless to say, it was not a good day for rider, driver, or passenger

LOL. Thanks for the laugh on that one. Yeah, you’re right. Even a compact car has the advantage in a car versus motorcycle exchange.

Ditto on that. Never been impressed with stories of 500 pound motorcycles muscling 3,000 pound vehicles around.

***The day a motorcycle forces me off the road is the day I turn in my physics-knowledge card.***
About 20 years ago I had a teen on a motorcycle pass me. A few seconds later I was pumping his chest trying to keep him alive, as physics dictated that his motorcycle would not bump a 2500 lb auto, making a legal left turn, out of his way.
He lived but was brain damaged even though he had a helmet on.
