This election has to rock the confidence of every sitting Democrat in Congress. Will it have a significant impact on upcoming Senate votes?

Because outside of the liberal enclaves of Reno and Las Vegas Nevada is a pretty reliably conservative state.
No D has ever held this seat, so no major drama expected, plus our population is small and easily ignored.
With the exception of Kalifornia the media tend to ignore the west, our population is not so dense (no pun) as the eastern states so we have fewer of their supplicants to echo the message they want to push.
We will be less ignored, and the media will pay more attention next year when we have our very early caucus.
As small as we are, Nevada has been a critical battleground for the last several presidential elections.
Anyone serious about winning had better start campaigning here, and very soon.
