I feel like I finally get it--what is Washington? It is nothing but a huge kick-back machine. Insiders make contributions to their candidates expecting to get something from the public trough--the taxpayers money, that is. You make your contribution knowing that whatever you give will come back to you a hundred fold.
It always comes back to the taxpayers money. Take Planned Parenthood, for instance. They get grants from the government, they take some of that taxpayers money and give it to the Democrats. It's a classic kick-back, Planned Parenthood gets it share of our money and the Democrat Pary gets it share as well. How many other leftist "social justice" groups use the same circular means to keep themselves in the money?
The government bureacracy is another kick-back scheme since they are paid by the taxpayers, then turn around and give their contributions to the Democrats, who in turn protect their jobs.
Private businesses also get their kick-backs when they make generous contributions to politicians in hopes of getting government contracts, subsidies or tax loop holes. We end up picking up the tab for them as well.
We are feeding all of these hogs at the trough, no wonder we are 14 trillion in debt.

THis is going on at every level of gov. Fed, State, County, City, School Boards, etc. It starts at the bottom and works its way up.
Most pols start on school boards. If you want to change America, start here; it has the largest impact on the American citizens beliefs and citizenship and it is also where the most $$ are spent until you get to the Fed level.

If we elect anyone other than Sarah Palin, we can look forward to more of the same.
The school board—now let see how many goodies can be handed out by the school board. Of course, there are teachers salaries as well as the salaries of other school employees. Building, maintaining and funding school buildings—lots of moolah there. Who sells food to the school cafeterias? Who sells school furniture and other equipment?
I know, but I finally just got the ENORMATY of it all. I understood that there were special interests involved, but wow, it’s ALL about special interest.
We have a two party pay to play system.

The other half is that it is the biggest protection racket in the history of the known universe.
They pay for protection from the tax code, and from the regulatory beast.
Remember when Clinton was president and the Justice Dept. went after Bill Gates? That was because he wasn’t paying up. As soon as he paid the nut, his troubles went away.

Nope. it is heavily loaded toward the Democrats. The unions are the worst money laundering scheme of the bunch and they give 98% to the Democrats. So does Wall Street.
