Sarah Palin said some amazing and terrific things the other day
(Excerpt) Read more at amconmag.com ...
Perry’s attack on Bernanke is long overdue, but I find it hard to like or trust a man who has been too much pandering to minorities, and big government edicts. I am disgusted with his in-state tuition breaks for illegals, and his repudiation of the Arizona law. For me, Perry is a chasm apart from what America needs. Bob
It’s her philosophy of government, that the playing field cannot be weighted toward big entities, as it is today. My attraction toward Palin has zero to do with her physical appeal, or the fact that she is “purty”. She is a giant in a land of Pygmies. Bob
There IS an answer though, and it's obvious.
You're a dishonest troll, and bone-crushingly stupid, to boot.
Otherwise you'd have been able to make sense of Sarah's speech for yourself, instead of baiting Palin supporters into statements you could twist and distort and lie about.
Cheers!
Good. Don’t vote for him.
Kinda like Palin's candidacy announcement.
If you’re so damned smart and I’m so damned dumb, then you tell me what she said and give me the policy behind the speech.
Great, then tell me how she is going to fix this problem. The devil is in the details.
I was honestly trying to find an answer and then you have to go blow a gasket and the truth is you have no idea either but you don't want to admit it.
No, you weren't.
I asked you in post #276 whether you wanted an explanation of the original New York Slimes article or Rod Dreher's synopsis, and you never answered, but crowed in post #286 that you'd given up and there is "no answer" [to your question].
Either you missed my post, or you never had any intention of acting in good faith.
Given your past history of trolling, making the call for the latter was easy.
Cheers!
And they did it before Palin!
See how simple it is to articulate solutions? You, too, can do it. Try! You really can. I promise you won’t injure yourself! Take a break from bowing at the altar! Try !

Tell me. With everyone presenting, in essence, the same idea, why was Sarah Palin the only one that got press?
Did you say Palin was the only one? The others were also reported.
So wouldn’t it be correct to say Palin is one of several high-profile Republicans who made the proposal?
How do you define only one?
Or is it, for you, a case of “It depends on what the definition if ‘is’, is.”

IMO, Palin has far more political cloud and power by not running. She can put the heat on whomever she chooses and expose them.
No, I’ve said she wasn’t the only one who proposed it, as others, including Bachmann and Cain, said so earlier this summer. My point is: why didn’t it get any MSM attention until Palin said it?
If we don’t get the wrong people out of there; it will get worse.
Palin's political capital is fueled only by the belief (or fear) that she might well become the next president. If she removes herself from contention, that political capital will be downgraded faster than the US credit rating.
And as far as power is concerned, there isn't a more powerful position in US politics, than the presidency.
Do you consider the Dallas Morning News MSM ? Please note the date. Took about 5 minutes to find that one
also, on Nexis, after 8-15-11 there are more than 2000 MSM hits on the search terms “Rick Perry” atleast5(Perry) within 25 words tax
So... I guess there were MSM mentions about Rick Perry proposals to cut taxes, including corporate income taxes, form August onwards — and before Sarah Palin mentioned she would cut corporate income taxes
Sarah: WELCOME ABOARD! Glad to see you are in favor of cutting corporate taxes — just scant years after RAISING state taxes on an American industry - Alaska’s oil companies.

After harsh words about the Fed, Perry sticks to pro-business theme
SECTION: Pg. 4
LENGTH: 557 words
When the bus ride for Rick Perry hit some bumps on day four of his presidential campaign, the governor veered hard to the right and stayed there.
Perry tried to steer clear of the blowback from his comments about the Federal Reserve, so he was careful with his words and stuck to a pro-business theme. But even that led to controversial turf, as he mused about moving Social Security to the states for experimentation with private accounts and having only pro-business appointees oversee environmental programs.

Perry said that the corporate tax rate should be cut and that he would fight for a balanced budget amendment to the U.S. Constitution.
Also, if you need the MSM to validate your beliefs, perhaps CBS News is more to your liking than a media outlet based in Texas, a red state. CBS, of course, is based in the blue blue baby state of New York

Hopefully, CBS will give you the comfort level you prefer

We Freepers need to step up for the acolytes of Gov. Palin — who is on my short list of preferred GOP nominees, along with Perry and Bachman, BTW — and provide the specifics that they are unable to provide.
It takes a lot of energy to bow at altars, to fatten one calf a day, to burn incense, to cast charms and to murmur chants. That’s very time consuming !
So I propose to be one who will help
Here’s the first installment.
To help eliminate crony capitalism, Gov. Palin has made the following proposal (courtesy of Calif Conservative)
1. eliminate the capital gains tax completely
2. eliminate capital loss tax shelters
why?
- If you make a profit, keep all of it
- If you suffer a loss, oh well, too bad, better luck next time.
See? It’s easy? And I’m sure you’ll agree that’s a legitimate proposal.
Gov. Palin, welcome aboard the tax-cutting bandwagon. You may be late to the party, since you raised taxes on the oil industry in Alaska in recent years.
But there’s plenty of room. The rest of us who have been on that bandwagon since President Reagan’s arrival as a GOP presidential nominee in 1980 have saved you a seat !
-George
It doesn’t matter, I’ll accept an explantion of either one.
