IMHO Newt, Bachmann and Cain did a pretty good job tonight.

Mittens held his own. Perry was up and down. He dropped the ball on the gloBull warming question.

Huntsman was beyond pathetic and Paul was as nutty as usual.

Sarah! Sarah!! Sarah!!!

>>That seems to reflect in polls as well.<<

You haven’t learned yet that polls at this point are designed to shape opinion not reflect it? Palin goes to MA and draws over double the crowd that Romney does. She goes to the Iowa State Fair and needs guards while other candidates set up stands to speak and get a group of maybe 50-100 to even listen. She walks into a restaurant and is surrounded by people while other candidates walk from table to table trying to get noticed. I could go on and on. Actions speak louder then polls at this point. There is no one who has declared that draws the crowds and interest that Palin does. The meme of Palin doesn’t poll well just tells me they are deathly afraid of her and for a reason.

His looks remind me of former NYC Mayor John V. Lindsey.

Huntsman was horrible. Beyond RINO.

Put this web site in your favorites. www.TVPC.com

Across the top is a bar click on "LIVE" It takes you to a page where you can access TV from almost every country in the world. Scroll until you get to the United States list. It will be on the right side. Not all channels work all the time though.

Perry didn’t impress me too much. He fumbled a few times and didn’t articulate his positions clearly. But as the leader I think he comes out unharmed (no major gaffes).

I hate to say it but Romney was (gulp) the clear winner. He was on point and just sounded (and looked) like he was ready for the job.

Too bad Newt is such a blowhard with loads of baggage because he’s the most brilliant conservative thinker.

Yep, Romney agreeing with that Democrat $200k limit on the ‘rich’ is allowing Democrats their class warfare levels, and we all know they will be adjusted down to every income level

Didn't see tonight's debate; SP won it last Saturday in Iowa as far as I'm concerned... Photobucket

lol! Paul reminds me of Aunt Clara from Bewitched. So saying Perry bested Paul isn't all that impressive.

And I understand plenty. Americans may want Obama gone so badly that they would be wiling to hold their noses and vote for Ricardo, but a vote for Ricardo would certainly be nothing to be proud of; sorta like 2008 all over again and probably with the same results.

Mr. Maddow is SO disgusting - I love how she pronounces her name Mad-doe instead of Mad-dow, like it’s so much more sophisticated, like Mos-coe instead of Mos-cow. Gag.

I can never bring myself to vote for an Al Gore supporter who has abandoned his state in its time of need in a mad rush for federal power. Rick Perry is the opposite of true conservatism.

Just joined today to post that salient comment I see. I hardly think he "abandoned" his state in a "mad rush" for federal power. True executives know how to delegate, unlike Gov. Blanco in the Katrina disaster.

Perhaps you're just pining for someone like 0bama who has the ability to lower sea levels as he proclaimed from his fake coliseum.

Interesting. It is the first time I have heard there was an opt-out option.

If true (don't doubt you, just do not know it as a fact), it certainly is a detail which should not be left out of the discussion.

I would also vote for anyone in the debate tonight over Obama, but I believe that the Dems may draft Huntsmant to run against Obama in the primaries. Wolf in sheeps clothing.

“I sure wish they would give Cain time on immigration - he and Bachmann score highest on immigration issues of all candidates.”

He should have gotten more time on everything. Unfortunately, the the GOP and the dems have already decided who they want as the 2 “contenders”. Herman is the only one with a real plan and those two groups are scared to death of it. He’s going to have to keep “taking that plan to the people” up close and personal.

Newts a master debater and the MSNBC folks know it. They didn’t give him much air time though, maybe he’ll remain a contender long enough to teach the others how it’s done.
