Interesting segment, not because Coulters advancing any new criticisms of Palin but because shes willing to acknowledge openly the political risk on the right in criticizing her in the first place. According to Coulter, conservatives refuse to challenge Palin publicly because they dont want to deal with the hate mail from her supporters. Thats part of it, Im sure by now, all columnists and bloggers know what awaits after criticizing Palin or, say, Ron Paul but I suspect the better part is that theres simply no faster ticket to RINOville among some grassroots conservatives than uttering a discouraging word about Sarah. Its the ultimate one of us litmus test; not even a right-winger as stalwart and confrontational as Coulter is immune, apparently, from the inevitable establishment/RINO/sellout/Beltway cocktail party nonsense afterward. That said, Im curious why shes speaking up now. Has she reached the point where she just doesnt care anymore? Or is she so worried about the election that shes willing to lose some fans in the interest of maximizing the GOPs advantage?
Exit quotation: Shes become sort of the Obama of the tea party, shes just The One to a certain segment of right-wingers. Click the image to watch.
I know. It sent me a nasty Freepmail instead of replying on the thread.
Ann is a PUNDIT! It's her job to give an opinion. You can take it or leave it, but her job is to make people react. She gave her opinion on Sarah in a respectful way that seems to have eluded many Freepers.
Shes become sort of the Obama of the tea party, shes just The One to a certain segment of right-wingers.
Yes, those votes matter if enough of them don’t vote for her but for someone else.
Agree...
...Im curious why shes speaking up now.
That one is easy; Coulter needed another attention fix to feed her addiction.
Stereotype and condescend much? There are very few civil, substantive debates here these days on the electability of Sarah Palin. Any questions to that point are summarily dismissed and the insults fly. You proved Coulter's point. When you start acting like a proxy for your candidate, when you feel personally affronted and get angry when anything you deem as criticism is leveled at your candidate you by definition are a cultist. Just look at ANY thread with Rick Perry or Sarah Palin in the title, the usual, suspects have to come in and carpet bomb the thread with canned , boilerplate posts or posts meant to bully a person into silence. The problem with most of her most ardent supporters her on FR, what they don't get, and don't want to listen to is we like Sarah Palin very much but feel our like for any one candidate should never take our eye off the prize, which is getting rid of Obama.
Why do you people keep projecting? What do I care about when she announces? I'm enjoying the circus.
This is YOUR party and you're waiting for her to show up.
And yes, I think you're being teased.
Objection? Are you kidding? I'd be celebrating.
I have no problem with more conservatives such as Sarah Palin joining other conservatives such as Rick Perry.
The more, the merrier.
My question remains as follows, whether you be gander or goose.
Were Palin to win the nomination, I will happily vote for her in the general.
And were Perry to win the nomination, you will ... ????????

As someone who had purchased and read all her previous books I disagree. It was a rip-off and lazy and I won’t purchase anymore of her books because of it.
If you think the book was marketed to those who were on the “borderline” then it’s clear you have no clue about Coulter or marketing.
Could Ann Coulter be going “David Brock” on us?
Ann Coulter’s sexual orientation is not instructive. Her worship of Mitt Romney last primary IS instructive.
Is that supposed to be a limerick? It doesn’t even rhyme.
I love people looking differently at the posts
I'm a miserable poet
The ordering was to increase readability
but Freepers have had fun with it
I admit,
I do need to look again at her version
as to why she stepped down
But the average squishy middle voter
might be swayed with that argument
Someone should remind Ann that “unelectable” was the same label attached to Ronald Reagan.
Difficult road ahead? Absolutely.
Unelectable? Sorry, I’m not going to buy that.
All you need to do is read chapter 5, The Thumpin’, from her book “Going Rogue for a complete explanation as to why she was forced to make the decision she did to resign.
People think Coulter's comment is ridiculus. Deal with it.
Your "OMG", "punnishable by death" and it's an "inquisition" hyperbole is noted.
Who? Ann?
Let me channel Zell Miller talking to Chrissie Matthews during the 2004 Repub convention," You know what a metaphor is, don't you Chris"?
