To say a potential candidate is “not electable” fourteen months before the election is motivated by two things:
1) the fact that you have no idea if she is electable
2) your fear that she might in fact win and you don’t want her to

Is Coulter aware of Palin’s political ideas?

People think Coulter's comment is ridiculus. Deal with it. Your "OMG", "punnishable by death" and it's an "inquisition" hyperbole is noted.
Hyperbole? The first post out of the box was that Coulter is a lesbian. The second post was that she needed to eat a sandwich. That's not the FR version of inquisition?
While I am currently undecided on which person would best represent our party, I could see myself voting for Palin. My support or opposition of Palin has nothing to do with the point I'm making. Making a point about why what Coulter said is one thing but the predictable bashing normally reserved for liberals like Gore or Frankin of anyone who dares question Palin in any way is quite another.
I would suggest you actually read the comments before accusing me of hyperbole.

I know what arrogant condescension is.

Just because people are forced to condescend to meet you at your level does not provide the understanding that desperately escapes you. I know what arrogant stupidity is. You are looking at it in the mirror.

You don’t take what you perceive to be criticism of your opinions very well, do you? Have you always had a problem with extreme defensiveness when someone challenges what you believe is your intellectual superiority?

When a poster resorts to condescension and insults rather than debate, they’ve lost. You lost.

The thread started out with ad hominem attacks against Ann Coulter by freepers who seem to believe their enemies are those that only agree with them 90% of the time. I pointed that out and received an ad hominem attack from someone I assume to be an idiot. Tit for tat.
Stop crying and put on your big boy pants.

That was pitiful. Just pitiful.
