Interesting segment, not because Coulter’s advancing any new criticisms of Palin but because she’s willing to acknowledge openly the political risk on the right in criticizing her in the first place. According to Coulter, conservatives refuse to challenge Palin publicly because they don’t want to deal with the hate mail from her supporters. That’s part of it, I’m sure — by now, all columnists and bloggers know what awaits after criticizing Palin or, say, Ron Paul — but I suspect the better part is that there’s simply no faster ticket to RINOville among some grassroots conservatives than uttering a discouraging word about Sarah. It’s the ultimate “one of us” litmus test; not even a right-winger as stalwart and confrontational as Coulter is immune, apparently, from the inevitable establishment/RINO/sellout/”Beltway cocktail party” nonsense afterward. That said, I’m curious why she’s speaking up now. Has she reached the point where she just doesn’t care anymore? Or is she so worried about the election that she’s willing to lose some fans in the interest of maximizing the GOP’s advantage?

As for coulter, I never once took a second out of my life to ask myself what ann coulter might think of anything...ever. And I can’t think of a single time I ever thought she was funny...or right....about anything either. Sure ain’t gonna start now.

I've lost respect for a lot of the posters on FR.
Perhaps she should have spent more time brushing up her resume instead of going the celebrity reality tv route. A lot of the problem people have with her is the choices she made after she resigned.

That's nothing but a funding plan for the corrupt Union thugs like Jimmy Hoffa Jr. Not a single penny of tax payer dollars should go to any Union PERIOD, if they can't survive on the dues they extort from their members, they should die off like any other parasite
Well, it is a bit soon to say anything since Palin has yet to announce. If she announces, she will have to get on stage with the others. Interesting to see how she performs in such a setting.

When Ann joined GOProud, I was very concerned for her. Did she jump the shark to attract attention? GOOProud is a Trojan horse to repeal the Defense of Marriage Act. It is all about federal workers getting benefits for their same-sex spouses. Such a move would break the bank on the cost of our federal workers.
I was also concerned about the direction that ex-chairman David Keene had taken CPAC. From some very good inside information about Keene, I am glad he is no longer the chairman. I am glad that a vote by the American Conservative Union board has ousted GOProud from CPAC sponsorship.
I am hoping that Ann distances herself from GOProud. If she is doing a surveillance job on the gay network, that would be useful is she were to produce an expose of the true gay agenda. I hope that is what she is up to. If not, I believe she is making frivolous use of her life by a group that only wishes to use her.
One thing I am sure of: Romney as president means more of the same thing we have had since about 1989.
