I like both Perry and Palin.

I found the grammar interesting by this writer though. I'm far from being a pro at grammar but I don't work for the Washington Post either.

Mitt Romney and Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) might want to sent Palin some flowers.

Public schools are just awesome.

Palin will not play second fiddle to Bush Lite, so I do not expect her to throw her support behind him. But, the alternative (Obamney) is not good either. Palin will most likely stay on the sidelines and pick the eventual winner near the end.

You’ve gotta love the way she plays the press.

She is sooooo superior to the MSM slugs in every way.

And...added bonus...she’s a tough chick. (Sorry for the sexist remark, but let’s face it, folks - wow!)

That’s ok! Won’t hold it against you.

Most of us Palinistas believe that there are more signs that she ‘is’ running than she ‘isn’t’ running. Look at it this way, if the answer were going to be a “NO”, why the wait? Unless of course, she’s just in it for the “publicity”. Of course, there’s no “Apprentice” to equate things this time around. Besides, she doesn’t strike as the “The Donald” type anyway.

If we have Obummer in 2012 there will be nothing left for Palin in 2016 - America will cease to exist. If this narcissist gets another four years, you know the wreckage we will be left with. The GOP MUST take the Senate and maintain the House to stop Obozo’s wrecking ball. He will do everything extraconstitustional in this hypothetical scenario.

Mitt Romney and Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) might want to sent Palin some flowers. She did an enormous favor for them in making the argument against “crony capitalism,” one of the most potent arguments against Perry.

What was this author partaking of when they wrote this piece? Why the heck would Romney send her flowers? If anybody, the finger was pointed at HIM!!!

And after the display today with Obama/Biden/et al at the various union Labor Day shows, this country won't last 4 more years under Obama.

I am a Perry supporter. I admire Palin very much but I don’t often fare too well in guessing. It is beginning to annoy me. I hope Palin comes out soon in support of Perry. I think Palin would be an awesome leader in Arizona politics. I like Michelle Bachman but I can’t seem to catch that fire. Boy, she has been an achiever in her brief lifetime. There is a place for her. I love Marco Rubio. I would like to see a Perry/Palin ticket or a Perry/Rubio ticket. Romney’s time has passed. Huntsman who?

If Sarah doesn’t run, I’ll eat my hat. If she DOES run, there’s a good chance they’ll try to kill her.

I don’t blame her for thinking it all over VERY carefully.

ALL SIDES will want her gone, not just Hoffa...

Well, I think you'll be disappointed if you don't like Palin. Everything I've heard this weekend, combined with all she has done, tells me that she is running.

I would guess she'll announce some time in September, and she'll have a ton of grass roots support.

If she's the nominee, she'll win. If Romney's the nominee, we get (at least) 4 more years of Obama. If Perry's the nominee, it's a coin toss who will win the general.

I'm warming to Perry as a second choice, but I'm pretty sure that the Obama team wants to run against George W. Bush again, and Rick W. Perry would be a huge gift to them.

If you want to take that chance, that's your choice. I don't like the odds with Perry. Too soon after George W. Bush, and Bush is still way to unpopular and hated by the left. Perry will mobilize Democrats to defeat him more than most "Republican Strategists" are saying right now. Of course, the Party Propaganda Ministry (or is it the Ruling Class Propaganda Ministry) is pushing Perry right now because Palin and the TEA party scare them.

I'll stick with my advice, Read my lips, no new Texans! (and as a resident of Florida, please, please, no new Bush's either).

This column by Rubin illustrates perfectly why Palin will wipe the floor with Perry and any of the other candidates.

Palin has successfully painted Perry as the crony-capitalist that he is without spending a dime. All the major media outlets reported it and are analyzing it.At the same time she lambasted Obama. This without having officially entered the race yet!

Sarah Palin is a political genius, her instincts are dead on and your boy doesn’t stand a chance.

I am with you. There are a lot more like us here who keep out of this mess than most realize. Mainly because there is no “debating” with them, it always winds up in a food fight.

But that is OK. In the long run, they just lose support as well as respect, when they dominate the Perry threads, hijack them into a Perry/hate fest and make themselves look like the mean spirited demagogues they truly are.

I still firmly believe that Palin will not enter the race. She will come up with a similar excuse for not running, resembling her reason for quitting her Gubernatorial position. Hopefully her following will not effect the outcome of this election. So far, they have had a minimal effect and Perry is still gaining momentum. Which illustrates that this rabid bunch is a very small minority.

Was the writer born yesterday? Some of you as well?

Mitt has NO CHANCE. Conservatives won't nominate him

Bachmann (I love her) is a back bencher.

Palin knows this. Why waste her bullets on non targets? Perry is her only real opposition.

Oh, by the way, she IS running.

You understand of course that many of us-- including Michael Reagan-- see SP as RR in a dress. That said, it should come as no surprise to you that we have no trouble with the fact that she has not yet announced, given the fact that Reagan announced his candidacy for President of the United States...November 13, 1979. That didn't work out to badly for him, in large part (IMHO) by then the rest of the candidates were on the record with their issues as candidates, and he was able to quote or accurately represent them in debates and advertising.

I'm going to hope, until shown otherwise, that your self-description as anti-Palin merely means that you have a candidate you prefer, and will vote for in the primary-- not that you have policy differences with SP that would prevent you voting for her in the General should she run.

What a title. Why the blank do we want 4 more years of Obama? I thought the point is to get rid of Obama.
