Thanks for the ping!
I think the Labor Day debate will be a lot more classy than the debates we’ve had so far, as well as informative.
Debates should INFORM us about the candidates re: issues that matter to Americans. Selecting a POTUS is too important for the media to be putting on a cheap show, and the lib media is even worse. I think the Labor Day debate will be different.

Part of my email from Susan B. Anthony:
“Will you tune in to watch and hear what the candidates will say about > Life? There are two ways to watch: > > Live-stream the debate from 3:00 - 5:00 PM EST at www.Townhall.com > (Bookmark this page now!), > > OR watch debate live on CNN from from 3:00 - 5:00 PM EST.”
I don’t have cable, so I’m also hoping there’s a decent stream at Townhall.com

Jim DeMint, Steve King, and my hero, Robert P. George, will be asking each candidate questions in individual 22 minute sessions.
As I blogged today,http://wingright.org/2011/09/04/robert-p-george-serious-gop-debate/ I’m a groupie for some of the great minds in ethics and philosophy. You know how some people have a fantasy sports team? I have a fantasy Supreme Court, and Robert P. George would be my Chief Justice.

Debates on and after Labor Day, do mean the most. Only the real and most electable candidates usually enter by then.
Reagan was the exception, but things were 180 degrees different in his time, from Media, to Communications. And there was only one actual debate and very few GOP candidates to choose from in that day.
I am looking forward to seeing Perry handle himself in front of a very large electorate audience. This should solidify his candidacy, since he is notorious for being a tough debater. More importantly, it will weed out even more weak candidates like Huntsman, Gingrich and a few others.
