This really saddened me. He is such a clear-minded speaker and his take on everything else (that I’ve heard of) was so reasonable and conservative.
Sadly, he doesn’t see the damage of Don’t Ask Don’t Tell and the damage of gay marriage.
They kill their practitioners at a far younger age.
They bring communicable disease into the community.
This just concluded poll by National Review Online which attracted a massive 33,806 votes is truly astounding in its result.
Palin 76% Perry 24%
For all the polls and talk by the media that Perry is the new The One for Palin to havea 52 point lead on such an important questions as who is the better conservative is striking.
If Palin declares this poll may give some insight into just how large her jump in support may be. Further, if this poll was between Palin and Romney I would imagine the result would have been even more lop-sided.
What insults? I was just having fun, oh yeah nobody can have fun. Everybody has to be serious as a funeral.
GO DUCKS
I agree 100%.. This is the MOST important election in MY lifetime (we always say that.. but this time it is VERY serious (series))..
This IS the thin thread holding our great nation together... lemme rephrase that; She is the last hope we have, in my opinion.
Bikk
Either way, we’ve just a couple more weeks to wait.
You know you just had a great idea. Wonder if it would be possible to burn a DVD from a computer. I’m so computer ignorant. But boy I sure would like to have some copies of the speech to give out and I haven’t even seen the speech yet. Hubby tivo’d it for me, but I have to wait for him to come home to play it for me. I’m also TV illiterate. LOL

Yolanda Lorente, a fashion designer from Chicago who said shes a native of Poland, was among the out-of-staters at the event. She drove five hours to Indianola and came dressed in a red, white and blue to her first tea party function.
I believe that this country is a little bit on the wrong path, and I became a supporter of the tea party, she said. Not taking any sides, just save this country, save the American dream.
Lorente said she came from Poland with $5 and has become a successful fashion designer selling to the best stores in America. But now, she said her business is crumbling. In the past few years, shes had to scale back the number of employees in her company from 65 to 37, and is now down to 12. She said she fears America moving towards socialism.
Everything is government, government, thats what was in Poland. And we have no control. The same thing is happening here, little by little, she said. We have to do something about it to save small business.
Lorente said no particular presidential candidate stands out to her yet. She said she supports tea party members and will ultimately support the best candidate, but hasnt yet figured out who that is.
Its too early, she said.
Can't be said enough, Bump!
Great speech. She is the ONLY politician in which I can not only watch the entire thing but actually watch the clock and wish it were longer.
Going to watch again later, but have to say it was the best I've ever heard, and I suspect one of MANY to come!!
If the professional wordsmiths would be honest about Sarah's talents, they would applaud, or at least acknowledge, her skill with words and phrases.
Bush's detractors collected his "misstatements." Well, I collect Sarah's zingers.
Has there ever been a person of her stature that they have told not to run? Mr. Dahlberg said. They are afraid of her. If she wins, it will change the dynamic in the country. Women of all kinds will support her.

WE SO PRAY!
In any case, to address your PDS comment...I am behind both Perry and Palin. Both love America and both 'get it'.
I'm in neither camp (Palin or Perry) but I will say only one has announced.
I'm for whoever the hell is going to kick that skinny marxist ass out of the WH (our house) along with his parisite wife
Palin or Perry can accomplish this. NOT the other lightweights currently in the race.
“The establishment elites need their comeuppance.”
I’m sure this is a major factor in her decision. She will, as a free agent, need to know that We The People will do our part and back her/our objectives through her presidency and beyond. The establishment elitists and entrenched career politicians will fight our kind of change tooth and nail. It will be ugly, costly, and nearly impossible. Numbers and being right are our only advantage. The enemy has invested a lot of time and money to get us to this point. It will be a long, hard, ugly fight. I hope enough of us are up to it.
I think it’s the President who decides if candidates get early protection (I think it’s automatic when it’s obvious they’re the nominee) so I wouldn’t be surprised if she doesn’t.
Yes, I believe that is true, but I also think that a Member of Congress or some such can request it. Would be quite a story if he denied it to her!
Indeed, the most brutal and ugly campaign is what we are in for; both through for the nomination and the Presidency. But as you say, Right (and God) will be on our side, and there will be an outpouring of grassroot support that will be talked about for quite some time. It has started a couple of years ago, and will move into high gear very shortly. Hang on to your hat!
Indeed. And no one told them to come or line up her (like O's speeches). They were enthusiastic and had their children there too. And she asked each one's name and where they were from before she signed her autograph.
Actually I DO think the state of the USA is as serious as a funeral. :(
I do think Sarah Palin would be the best we can possibly hope for, to turn things around.
And that, she may help us do...I just don’t see her doing it from the Oval Office. It grieves me but that is the handwriting on the wall, as I read it. (Hope to God I’m wrong.)
I love your tagline!
It will be interesting to see how Campaign Carl reports on Sarah’s speech today. Especially as he must know he heard the same remarks as everyone in that crowd, or who watched on tv or computer. I wonder if he will try to be belittling - his usual mode? And if he can’t, I wonder if Fox will just ignore the event entirely>
