Carrie and Stacie Stoelting, two sisters from Iowa, will sing the National Anthem
Simon Conway, conservative talk show host with WHO Radio in Des Moines
Sam Clovis, conservative talk show host with KSCJ 1360 AM in Sioux City
Tony Katz of Pajamas Media
Tennessee-based recording artist Krista Branch will sing her song “I am American” – a song often used by the Herman Cain campaign
The Stoelting sisters sing “Battle Hymn of the Republic”
Eric Golub, a Los Angeles-based political comedian
Branch sings another song
Ryan Rhodes, founder of the Iowa Tea Party
California-based recording artist Steve Vaus will sing “We must take America Back” while the music video plays

She’s running. If she wasn’t, she wouldn’t have let the crowd go on and on with the “Run, Sarah, Run” chant.

I am so happy to see this. Was called away after her speech, paused TIVO, and am still watching her move in the crowds. She’s signing away, stilling herself for pictures, talking small talk, talking policy, greeting small children, thanking people for their prayers and for being here, making jokes, laughing....
It is just breaking up now as I type, and the last thing I heard was a chant: RUN SARAH, RUN!

I think you need to read this post written by Freeper Logic'nReason, and also take a look at this snippet of her speech and then you need to be worried if you are not a Sarah fan.
Mrs. Palin is remaining quiet....she is waiting....she knows her battle plan....she knows her timing.....she is learning....studying the opposition....guarding the “cubs”....waiting quietly with an occasional “roar” (like the comments at the Iowa State Fair).....reconnoitering the challengers from within and the enemy from without.....studying weaknesses....building and conserving her strength....endlessly practicing....reading...honing her skills.....waiting.....waiting.....
This war has not yet begun. What has been seen of the other candidates to date has been nothing but minor and irrelevant skirmishing. Candidates in...candidates out....candidates winning....candidates losing.....candidates saying silly things.....candidates saying cogent, insightful things....
It is a very very long way to next November. There is no need to rush. In her mind's eye, Mrs. Palin smiles knowingly and remembers the words of Napoleon, “Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake.” and General Patton, “Our basic plan of operation is to advance and to keep on advancing regardless of whether we have to go over, under, or through the enemy. We are going to go through him like crap through a goose; like shit through a tin horn!”
When she arrives, you can count on total war. She has learned how to fight. She does not spin; she does not back away from principles; she means exactly what she says...and says exactly what she means. She builds a base of support because of who and what she is....not because of who or what she panders to.
Patience.....patience....
Wait for it!
And keep the faith....

I watched it live, but I had flipped the TV and didn’t get the crowd mingling recorded. I wish I would have.
I just told him! Now he’s watching football, but I see that he moved “Going Rogue” and then “America by Heart” to the top of his book pile...LOL.

My hubby came in the room as I was riveted to the screen watching Sarah. He has been “aware” (lol) of my admiration for Sarah since 2008.
By the end of her speech today, he was no longer making little digs about her.
He was agreeing with her PLAN!
