We've got to do it, unfortunately, at a time when money is tight. George Bush left us (a) $1 trillion deficit," he said, referring to the former Republican president.

We already know his job creation scheme.
Tax breaks for companies who hire someone out of work for more than X months. - It won’t work because companies don’t hire on someone because they will get a tax break, they hire because they have work for them to do.
More “green jobs” which has been a proven waste of money.
“Shovel ready” jobs, which aren’t shovel ready and is just more deficit spending.
Extension of a puny SS tax cut (from 6% down to 4%) for employees (employers still pay the 6%). Obama hoped that by letting people keep an extra $5 to $20 a week that it would stimulate the economy via Keynesian spending.

Obama I will quote the great philosopher Dandy Don Meredith: He said: "If ifs and buts were candy and nuts, we'd all have a Merry Christmas."

Bush asked for TARP that is true, and yes it was 800 billion added to the deficit for FY 2009 however, half was left to Obama to spend which he bailed out the Auto industry with and it was all supposedly paid back so the question to Obama is what happened to the TARP money? If it got paid back how can that be part of the deficit?
Obama LIES...

President DumbA$$, as a Senator, YOU WERE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE BUSH BUDGET when you voted to pass TARP and the "Pelosie/Bush" budget.
THE TRILLION DOLLAR DEFICITS ARE YOURS AS PRESIDENT....CONSIDERING THAT THE SENATE DID NOT PASS A BUDGETS FOR MORE THAN TWO YEARS....CONSIDERING THAT THE SENATE VOTED AGAINST YOUR MOST RECENT HYPER TRILLION DOLLAR BUDGET BY 97-0. JUST BECAUSE YOUR DEMOCRAT BASE IS STUPID DOES NOT MEAN WE ARE. WE KNOW THE PURSE STRINGS BEGAN WITH PELOSIE, BEGINNING 2007 AND ENDING 2011.
YUCK FOU.

Oh I get it. Bush was a dumb welfare state socialist, whereas Obama is a smart welfare state socialist on an even grander level, so that is supposed to make all the difference. Gosh, it just couldn't be the welfare state socialism that is the problem, now could it?

Sure, it could happen. Obama COULD resign, that might very well create 1 million jobs.
To: mdittmar
Obama can't directly do chit about private sector employment other than to get his ass and that marxist party of his out of the way. This is gonna be more federal jobs and more federal "funding". Who wants to bet there is a new federal agency created out of this.
These people are losers. None of them pass the "permanent loss of electricity test"; none of them.
